Yang Ziqing collects monster loot, Li Mengqing gathers foragables and Chen Yuanzhou catches fish. How long they take depends on the level/difficulty of the location. Some items are locked behind friendship, like the bigger well which requires 1 heart with Wei Hong. Now there are also small quests/conversations unlocked with each friendship heart you get, (and they also give you gifts after reaching certain friendship levels), which gives some extra incentive to befriend them. The gift preferences have been updated and there is someone actively working on a separate Gifting page on the wiki. The wandering merchant sells a loved (+9) gift for each of the npcs you have befriended, they are great to have for birthdays when you get x3 points. The banquet dish preferences are tied to the dishes, not the characters. You can see them in the notes/library page of the dish and I'm also pretty sure you can see what reactions a dish has previously gotten when you choose dishes in the banquet menu.
When you pay to use the kitchen, you have access to it the entire current solar term (3 days). So it's best to pay to use the kitchen in the beginning of a term to get the most use out of it.
Missed the stream, so I watched this while going about my day. Whoever the gifted sub was from, thank you so much! Really appreciate your generosity! On the topic of ice cream... Mint chocolate is my personal most favorite flavor. I love all the flavors you mentioned! Seems we have similar taste in ice cream? I'm a big fan of froyo tho.
I'm playing this game and it's relaxing but full of bugs Sometimes the season keeps changing every seconds Other times you can't go to study hall even if u schedule studies to level up other times quest character disappear
I think for me this game lacks a bit of art direction and I'm not a fan of the UI, fonts, etc. It's probably because it's originally in Chinese but the spacing around the fonts and UI elements is very awkward and jarring. Also the lack of character customization and marriage/kids mechanics has put it on my low priority list. I'll try giving it a shot when I'm done with Sandrock but yeah that has been my initial thoughts. The things that catch my attention is the Chinese cultivation theme and the cooking and the magic systems. I just think that besides gameplay, in terms of story or characters there doesn't seem to be anything that stands out so far.

You're so so likeable. I find watching you very relaxing.
Thank you!
Wow, the cooking mechanisms look really cool! It reminds me of playing Diner Dash when I was younger 💛

Oh, great tip! I thought you only had it for one day!
So did I for the first 150+ hrs of playing the game, until I finally went to rent it a second time the same solar term and was told I had already paid
