27 years, that's a powerful sentence, its not very often a sentence like that is given to a cop, even a killer cop. He was trembling like an earthquake victim pulled from under the rubble. Justice must be seen to be done, especially with this murdering, badge--wearing swine.

As a bystander, you can't even get something to eat at night without almost getting hit by a stray bullet from some criminal activity. Been working in Newark for a little over a year and i've seen about 10-11 shootings up close. I passed up a job in Piscataway because this one paid more and now I regret it.

He was on the job chasing and shooting at a car that attempted to stop multiple times but continued fleeing because terminator wouldent stop shooting, watch the video his own partner told him to chill calm down etc etc if your own cop partner is telling you that your doing to much on a side note not a single other cop shot at the car/them but he shot them on 3 different occasions
No gun was ever found , he lied about the whole incident , 27 years is too little too lenient of time, he deserves life imprisonment.

I do not agree with this sentence especially finding out the conduct of those dudes in the car with the gun and speeding off and hitting cars running lights nearly killin people on the streets ,this cop did not deserve this kinda time period!

This is Jersey. When they say you have to serve 85% of your sentence, they mean it. Especially when it’s an officer being sentenced for abusing their power and not upholding their oath as a civil servant.
To be honest, Angel Crespo is a good guy he coached my brother. He never had an ill tensions in his body. I get it it's justified but, look no taking sides but, the person shot had a weapon not authorized and when your a cop you have a life as well. Not all cops are bad free Crespo.

What you’re failing to realize is that Crespo stated the gun was pointed at him, and that’s why he was shooting. However, that was a lie because the bodycam footage showed a different story, which is why the judge called him trigger happy.

Tough decision I think. Clearly the people that were shot were no boy scouts. They are criminals. Criminals that had no second thought of putting eveyone else in danger with that chase. They were not contributing to the community. They were actively making it worse. However, we also cant have police running around in their own personal GTA game. Their actions were just as bad as the criminals. Too many stray bullets. The cop should be punished but this way is way too severe.
