I feel like 15 seconds is not enough and half of the turns were wasted haphazardly. I guess it's one way to play the game, but does not left much room for calculated and delicate plays.
It's 20 seconds per turn in elite. You're supposed to plan ahead during your opponent's turn. I don't see any haphazard gameplay. Gonzo made 2-3 mistakes near the end, which ultimately cost him the game. Prior to that, every move from both players had a clear objective, often utilizing the turn time down to the last second.
