When lifting like that use a couple 4x4 wider than the cab roof and put the straps under them. They push the sides out, and all the weight is pulling straight up. Then you're not pinching the drip rails.
If anything we would want to lower the cab because we are wanting to lower the truck in general. After looking at it more we are going to mount the engine a few inches higher to make room for lowering the front end so the oil pan doesn't hit on the front axle.
I like how you guys used a broom stick as an extension to move the forks up and down. Almost like a modern day macgyver.
Yeah we pretty much think of everything. Highly advanced individuals!

Thanks for the tip! We will do that next time we have to lift the cab!
Can 2 guys pick up that cab?
If I remember right we did pick it up with 2-3 guys. Wasn’t very easy. But was possible.
What frame did you use for the build I know you use a f650 rear end and front axle I just want to know what frame did you use
We used the original loadstar frame.
Hold on before anymore cutting is done. Fit the fenders on. You may can get away with lifting the cab a few inches.

Ginger Auto oh ok. That makes sense
What was wrong with the running gear that the cab was originally sitting on
It has a weird three speed rear end.
