My father and I used to listen to this song every day on the way to school. Then I enlisted, he got sick and passed away while I was gone. This is the first time I've heard the song in a good while and it's very emotional.

Is so sad how underrated this band is... they deserve alot more.
What also isreally sad is how much hate these guys get, especially if you heard n saw the meaning of like 90% of their songs. On top of it I'm pretty sure a few members of 5FDP have military background. Yet more n more people hate them. I can see why many hate them now cuz their music is starting to get lighter n lighter with more generic meaning due to them selling out to corporate radio.
@@randomuser684 Although FFDP is among the bands I listen to the most, I must say that with many songs, they sound like angry kids with a lack of imagination with "you're a fucking poser, shut the fuck up, I'll crack your teeth" and stuff like that. Their lyrics are sometimes superficial, and it sucks. Sometimes, I wish I liked songs, but their lyrics make me skip them. It's the case with "War is the answer".
I do agree that they don't deserve the hate they get. Their music is good, sometimes excellent. It just sucks that their lyric content doesn't follow through in many cases.

@Harley Quinn I think if you listern close enough, the song recognizes the struggle of each person including those mentally scarred.
If you follow the lyrics, it tells you to push using all you have endured, all you took and make it the motivation to keep going no matter how much others tried to take you out, acknowledge your bravery to keep going so the next obstacle won't stop you anymore so you can also lift up those you can on the same fight.

Found this song by chance during a very difficult time in my life.
Ive dealt with bullies throughout much of my time in school, but i found this song when i was at my last straw with them, this song me the strength to rise above my tormentors, it taught me not to not give a shit what other people think of me. Hearing this song pretty much kept me alive. It gave me a new mindset and i think the bullies i dealt with could tell. They eventually stopped bothering me when they got the hint that i wasn't dealing with that shit anymore, no violence needed. I just had to become stronger mentally, and this song did that for me.

Hyena, thanks for saying something. There's a lot of young adults that are tormented by insecure pri*ks that have to inflict pain on others to feel worthy. The good news is "IT"S ALL TEMPORARY". Take it from someone who knows...the feeling of revenge later in adulthood is unbelievably satisfying.
A lot of their music does that. Their entire library snaps me out of some kind of funk ive been stuck in. Its just uncanny how much feeling and soul they unleash into everything they do.
