no matter what setup i have, the Car seems to always slide around corners, no matter how gently i apply throttle
Same
Because he never said that it mostly depends on what speed you carrying. The slower you are, the more gentle to the throttle you want to be. I usually look at gears. If it is 2, I give a gentle throttle ( maybe between 35% to 50% ) and as you speed up, you want to slowly increase the throttle %. But on the turns, you want almost no throttle, and as the wheel straightening up, then you want to start giving some gas. But again, it depend on speed and the turn.
But it is better to show then say as there are a lot of deferent scenarios we could talk about.
Slowly hit the breaks and also slowly hit the gas... never just jank one of the 2
Abs and traction should be on for smooth and easy driving
Try manual trust me and trust the process. Being in the wrong gear will spin you out! Automatic is always a gear ahead or behind its funky. Trust y’all
do tutorial on brake bias and diffrential pls
Mate, the force feedback and vibrations are non existent in this game for controllers. Compared to F1 2021 every kerbs has force feedback and vibrations. But for F1 23 it’s only having force feedback in selected kerbs. Why is that?
It's a bug most likely.
its also that this year the track is realistic. some kerbs you feel less vibration or more and its why u ride kerbs alot more. like hungary if you ride the kerb on turn 5 you cant just get off of it.

👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
GT7 has it.... good work Codemasters
F123 has wherl support. Just buy one if your that desperote. I prefer controller. Its cheaper.
Are there any other racing games that have motion sensor steering on PS5 like GT7???
I am struggling a lot with this game, thanks
womp womp
Would love a new tutorial regarding the Bias etc
I noticed on the default set ups that you can’t change at times when playing breaking point, the front brake bias is at 63 and differential is at 65. I tried it on my own set ups and it always seems to be good no matter the circuit or car. Of course, it’s personal preference regarding brake distances and stuff but I find it generally works. 🏁🏁👍
me too!
off adaptive triggers, it makes u have better control of ur throttle and brakes
I Heard to learn it with on as it gives u more confidence in the exit, because there is Resistance
Regards! My problem would be that I can't gradually increase the gas on the controller, but it immediately jumps to 100%. when calibrating, no matter what I do, it does that. thanks for the help.he same thing happens when braking.
on the settings i have the throttle linearity really high. over 50. it means you can just pull the trigger and the accelleration will be smoother and more gradual
You can set the throttle lol
I’m on 2022 and its rubbish on game pad , no steering rate options, so that means when coming out a corner hard on throttle and the rear steps out you have no way of catching it, because the steering response to the controller is delayed….. so much for “ sim racer” 😂
I want settings that make the vehicle handle similar to the super formula in GT7 (without any assists) the super formulas handle like a dream on gt7 and here it just seems I can't get the settings just right....
I can’t turn corners on this game for nothing hopefully this helps
Wait are you telling me there's no motion steer like there is on GT Sport/GT7?
Yeah I was wondering also it's getting deleted I don't play racing games with a analog I love gt7 motion controller same as real racing for Android wen you just tilt your phone like an steering wheel

Bingo RR3 got me A+ on GT7
Nice, man. I'm struggle with adjustment of brakes and diferencial during the race, I will take some time to memorize, but worth it the effort. Tks a lot, man.
Man, after I did this, I'm not get used, so I change back, so now, the right stick it's can change the break bias and diferencial, normal, like the left stick do. I prefere that way. But I don't know if always was that way and I never notice before.
ive always played f1 22 controller on pc, and i bought f1 23 but the steering is so different. if i touch my steering knuckle the car turns so much. can you help me?
Tip for overtake button, just reassign it to the stick you steer with, L3 on Ps for example. Your thumb will typically never move from the stick anyways so it’s very simple to toggle it on and off
yeah and then while trying to press the button you turn the car a little. No thanks
@@miguelantunes43 it’s actually not as hard as you’d think personally. It’s like pressing sprint in other games. Holding it would be a pain though I think. Do what ever works for you though
@@xGhostassassin yeah i dont hold it i have toggle on R1
i just think that if you want to turn it on on the exit of a corner you can easily make a mistake
@@miguelantunes43 I did at first when I first changed it but it’s something to easily get used to. My girlfriend plays as well on the occasion and she found it 10x easier as well. I guess it’s each to their own
I really recommend this I’ve used L3 for overtake since f1 2020 now
I am so happy we don't hsve traction control. This is how it should be. More like real because in the comps you don't get to use that stuff. The car will slide I resl life and lose grip if not done right. This is how racting without some assists on is. It's perfect
I prefer the controller feeling on F1 22 this one I feel like it’s way to grippy and just turns too much so tryna find a good spot, finding it difficult
I found this too, its worse on entry but much better on exit compared to 22. One thing i recommend is to lower the steering rate loads. I literally take it down to as low as mid 70s sometimes. Also lower the steering angle, you dont need anywhere near 360 on most tracks and it helps with oversteer
thanks, immediately won a ranked race after changing the steering and braking linearity
will this stop the car spinning on corners
Still no motion steering?
C'mon Codies
Brake bias and differential tutorial please.
Have a problem with binding buttons anyone help?
You saved my f1 23 experience because my R2 button was a bit broken so that put 80% input and after I adjust the input on the calibration settings now I have the 100
Thank you for the video you save my day
Why does my car turn very hard? And that's why I can't turn.
My f1 23 has no setting for trigger vibration rather its showing me options for logitech trueforce strength
And somehow i dont get any force feedback on my controller triggers
Can someone help me solve this glitch
Make sure you're playing the ps5 version and not the PS4 version
I jist want to know where the hell the practise gearbox is that it keeps telling le to use🤣🤣💀💀
Bro you copied Thomb's video shots
If feels like I always blow corners on street circuits and can never keep up with ai even on easy, any suggestions?
If you are having a hard time with your braking points, use the racing line. It has helped me a ton with learning braking points.
Street circuits and tight corners are going to be way harder on controller. If i set AI to 70, in Baku I am at least 3 seconds off the pace, but on a track like spa or red bull ring I can put it on pole. Unfortunately there is no substitute for a wheel
Thank you
Hi. Can anyone help me with F1 23, PS4? My 8 year old son would like to play this game by simply choosing a driver and any race track he wants - rather than being forced to compete in a championship. Is this doable? Now let's say it's not. And that you re forced to compete in a championship - I didnt even manage to find the option of competing in a championship but with a real F1 driver. I came away with the impression that the only option is to create your own driver.
You should got to F1 world, choose play and pick grand prix. There you can choose what track you want and driver etc
Yes pls 🫡 4:08
How can I change to manual gear ?
PS4?
Promo SM 👊
So Ers is the overtake button? Or am I wrong
Yes it is
This game is disappointment.
You have no idea
Nah, it looks great
@@aloelover6012 looks and playing are 2 different things. video was great tho but a few aspects of the game modes makes bringing up your talent worthless
I mean it’s alright
The car sounds sound weird, the Honda sounds on point but the others don't sound even remotely like the real thing especially Mercedes.
