Every time I try other bikes on the market to compare them to my Fazer 8, I'm blown away by how much I still love my Fazer. Its light, comfortable, fast and fun. I will eventually move to a cruiser, but still loving this bike. Best bang for the buck for a used bike on the market. Bulletproof reliability also, never had a moments trouble.
FZ8 and fazer 8 are now absolute bargains. Most yamaha riders have moved on to the MT range and have forgotten about these bikes which has caused a drop in price. I have the FZ8 and the engine is superb, super smooth and above 6k revs its more than you need. I would say the FZ8 and Fazer are comfortable bikes, which can commute and tour whilst also being capable in the bends, sort of puts them in the category of the CBR650R Kawasaki Ninja 650 and the Aprilia tuono 660 but when you consider how much more your paying for those bikes the FZ8 with more power is a steal.
I have this. It can travel 135 km/h in hours (in germany high ways). It have never let me down. After a long winter where i store it outside, in a garasje i start it right away in the spring. Its a very fun motorbike to run in roads with curves.
@UC7MZ1_pImAbNXmewin48Otg I google translate your answer. My motorcycle can go faster than 135 km/t for hours, but my body dont like it at all. wind is a big problem. I recommend this motorcycle alot. Easy to handle, good at handling,
@@stefan1741i It have a kick of power at 6000 rpm, and it going fast up to 9000, so answer on that is no. Would i recommend this mc, yes. Its not a R motorcycle, but this bike handle very well on a race track too. if u r skilled u will easy beat a R1 driver who cant master its power
Very clean, good quality review! I liked it very much. Really good sound capturing as well, good headlines about the bike and good video quality. As I said, liked it very much.
Had a fz8 naked for 8 years from new, it was a fantastic bike, never went wrong, apart from batteries. They just lasted about 2 years each. Bike just standing for 2 weeks would completely destroy the battery. Yamaha's problem however is its bikes are loosing a lot of power in the transmission. Fz8 had just 90 bhp at the wheel. Now I'm riding a new suzuki katana, and it's only loosing about 4 bhp between engine and rear wheel. The difference is very noticeable, as when I was testing the bikes I wanted to buy, my favourite based on the looks, sound, engine power etc was Yamaha mt10, but katana won it by miles because mt10 felt actually less powerful than suzuki. Not to mention nearly 3 thousand pounds difference in price.

She sounds like Dory
800’s are nice!
Heard the word "peppy" - turned it off
"Permit me to introduce myself. I am Pepe Le Pew, your lover."
Roa"t" test?
This bike is too powerful for this rider to handle as she is cruising all the time, she should be on a 400cc or some 200cc automatic.
Who are you to say what someone else should ride?
lol wtf
