Introducing the official promotional song "Doesn’t Matter ‘Cause", a grim song about all those poor zombies who don't know whether they're dead or alive!
More than just a remaster, this Deluxe Remaster is a full graphical overhaul of the first game in zombie-slaughtering action game series "Dead Rising".
This remaster has also been fully voiced, supports auto-saves, and has various other quality-of-life features.

Listening to this song, I was reminded that these zombies are unfortunate people who were just in a shopping mall on a holiday and got caught up in a terrorist attack by Carlito Keyes and turned into zombies.
It's so sad to think that each and every one of those zombies that covered the screen had a family and friends.
Dead Rising is a game that makes you laugh, but when you look at the background, it's not funny at all.
I mean, Dead Rising 1 isn't meant to be funny all the time, it's meant to be taken seriously
It only started getting more comedic with DR2 and onwards
Not saying there aren't any comedic moments but it is mostly serious, hell one of the Psycho's are only like that because he watched his family get eaten by the zombies and he snapped and believed the zombies were Viat Kong and that he was in Vietnam and when you kill him, he realises what's really happening and apologise for what he did, not only to Frank but the people he brutally murdered
Dead Rising 1 was always had a serious tone to it so that the player can make the sequences look goofy with weird outfits.

DR2 and onwards, yea but DR1 is meant to be taken seriously, the only goofy shit is whatever outfit you wear in a cutscene, the rest is meant to be taken seriously because they wanted to tell a serious story, the whole lore behind the game before the first outbreak in Willamette was how america was trying create cloned Cow Meat because humanity kept getting more greedy and greedy, eating more and more and the consequences of that was the creation of the Zombie virus and the destruction of Santa Cabèsa (I think that's how it's spelt) which is what leads to Carlito doing what he did in DR1
Due to mankind's greed, it killed a small town which then caused a town with over 200,000 people to be consumed by the undead because of humanity, that's why the final quote after beating overtime is related to being greedy and demanding more and more
DR is meant to be taken seriously

im just very happy that the game gets released on my birthday 9/19. Plus the video and song are really catchy
You see, Frank in this music video represents the absurdity of existence. The most random crap can come up at any point to mess up your life, even if you were doing everything right. The zombies in the video represent people who have been disillusioned by their daily routines and how pointless it all seems. At the end, though, the zombies accept their situation and just try to have fun until Frank kills them.
I'm absolutely reading into this too hard, but I swear this can be a good primer for learning Absurdism.
