It is like there is always an asian better than you. There is always a chinese drama worse than another chinese drama.
better at being worse
Actually...see, you have to consider this: we have TV shows too, let's assume you're German (play along) and you watch a Turkish drama. Some things might be weird, but it's not unheard of and not really that much is different. Their TV is the same as yours...(it applies to other nationalities too, Polish with UK, American with Indian (Bollywood)so on). That then reflects that societies are not that different...but then you get to Chinese drama...and this stuff is normal (and it is) ...their society is completely different. In some part, same with South Korean stuff.
In short, there's a reason why this kind of stuff is on TV and they might not see it be, as bad as you might.

I actually watched the drama years ago. The triangle guy is the second male lead. Excluding the totally absurd musical parts, the drama is supposed to be a light romantic comedy and it wasn't that mediocre.

I think it’s something very common in Chinese movies and dramas. They just look for the prettiest girls and make them play an instrument even though it’s obvious they have no idea what they are doing.
Also, if you see historical dramas they just pretend they are playing the Guqin or the flute and that’s just painful 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
Paula Crespo True. Nowadays Chinese drama directors choose to give opportunities to actors who are just good looking and famous, and not actors with good acting or professional. This movie is an example. The actors apparently didn’t research information about violins or even classical music. It is very disappointing that there are only a few Chinese dramas which have a good director, good actors and a good plot.
Right on spot.
Exactly the situation of many dramas🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️

life between lanes Honestly though, they look shockingly composed for music students. My boyfriend is a violist and during the years that I hang out at his school, nobody ever looked that decent on a day that was not recital or orchestra because stress doesn’t make a beauty product.
My teacher always says “I’d rather hear confident musicality than right notes” he’s not saying wrong notes are okay but there’s more than just right notes
Yes or ‘play loudly even if it’s wrong’
My teacher says the same. She also said she prefers that I practice well than more time. She also told me to always keep going even if i make a mistake, because she said that musicians have to always keel going and that most likely the audience don’t know the pice note by note
My choir teacher said to be confident and then they can work on notes and tuning.
People can be very confident when we shadow bow and let the better people play.
But we still have to act like we know what we are doing
The point is that when you suddenly lose confidence and start playing softer because of playing a wrong note, the audience will be able to tell something's wrong and that'll ruin the performance. If you simply keep going with the same confidence they probably won't notice, and if they do they will most probably forget it because you don't show in any way you did something wrong.
Close your eyes and just listen. Otherwise, it hurts.

3. They actually bothered to put rosin on the violin bow.
4. The people who made the recordings sound good.
5. The playing was so bad TwoSet violin made a video on it, so I will never need to watch the movie myself.
6:36 plays flute _makes clarinet sounds_
15:47 plays violin _makes flute sounds_
OH THAT'S RIGHT i didn't pay attention to that lol 😂
Because we're not even bothered now I guess *the instrument has a soul of its own* ( more like the soul of this whole movie)
As a flute player, I don’t know if I should be offended, or dying laughing.
@@_DeerlyBeloved_ Don't worry the point of this movie is only *meSSed up*
@@hyndavianand3760 True that. 👌
As a clarinetist, I literally spat my water out when they paired the clarinet sound with the flute player.
And did you see how they held the flute?

Where the 👌 ‘s point where the fingers touch is the mouth.
I play flute and I did the same thing😂😂
IKR Look at 13:14 the clarinet doesn't even have a mouthpiece
@@jocelyngoodwin4485 Guess they did no research on the clarinet... putting clarinet sound to the wrong instrument, not even fully assembling the instrument... I am surprised they knew it was an instrument as this point! :P
Tbh sounded like a bass Clarinet to me
1. funny
2. relatable
3. love of bubble tea
4. plays very nicely
5. editor san's edits
Yay, Editor-san!!!
I miss playing the violin. Used to be damn good and watching you guys react just makes me miss it more. First video i watched from you was just the other day because my fiancee was like watch this with CC. Definitely worth fastest bee flight
I think Tom and Jerry was better at showing the performance than those guys.
Tom and Jerry was fucking awesome in the hr2 performance
@@nitzmilky7246 As was Bugs Bunny
Even that stretching pinkie is more realistic than this...
Savage
they actually tried to get things right there haha
Ya know the students could have just said they were playing jazz
Random Dude By the look of that scene, it doesn’t seem like the playing has enough flair in it to be jazz either.
@@kennethhwang3425 you can't tell because of how everything was badly structured
Good one
Oof Jazz gang y’all gonna take that lying down??
Lol
Love the video..wonderful content
Five positivity statements about the movie:
They didn't break any instruments
People dressed well
Ummm the rooms were well lit?
Those cheerfully colored plastic buckets
And the piano bench didn't get kicked
The cheerfully colored plastic buckets 😂😂😂
Best part
😂🤣😂
the best of all: it ended

Five positive things about Twoset:
1. They inspired me to challenge the asian stereotype of being a doctor
2. They made me fall in love classical music (Current favorite is Tchaikovsky violin concerto and basically everything twoset plays)
3. They give me a good laugh when I'm having a bad day
4. They give us quality content everyday
5. They give me a reason to get up from bed every morning
you forgot to be in love with classical music since you were in your womb (like brett)
6. They reminds you to practice 40 hours a day
So does your practices improve?:))))
But isn’t classical music an Asian stereotype
MrManiac3 not really, it's more of playing an instrument in general that's the stereotype
