- How to set maximum volume or minimum volume on LG TV. This feature can be accessed via the secret hidden menu called Hotel Mode. Once set you can use the password function to lock down this menu. This setting is ideal if you wish stop the volume on the TV being turned up too loud, or the TV being too loud on start up. Includes secret hidden code and tips.

i can confirm this works on the C3 too, Keep in Mind if you change the password in "Hotel Mode" it will not work if you press "1105" you will need to replace 1105 with your New password then press ok button. This had me scratching my head for 3+months Knowing it use to work then i made changes and wondered why it would not work again. My Tv Was stuck in hotel mode. i only realized what i done after reading the instruction PDf i downloaded from Google.

Having lower brightness will help. So will turning on all the screen protection tools such as screen move and pixel refresh.

I don’t think that would have much impact. Just use all the built in screen protection tools.

Not sure I understand your question but I don’t touch any sound settings I leave it all as default.

Is there a new code? 1105 seems to be a channel so it goes to that
No 1105 is the code I just used it and works with no problems

Not experienced that one sorry. Looks like Hotel Mode is locking you out of other options too.

It could depend on your TV model and region. That’s the only way I know of getting to that menu.
make sure you are not in the hub app section, try switching to one of the input modes, then trying these steps.

On your video when the settings menu appears you say " passed here" but menu stays! Pressing 1105 does nothing, am I missing a step? Rod.
It can take a few attempts. If you hold the settings button down for about 10 seconds, a menu pops up, keep the settings button depressed and it closes and the channel banner appears on the left. Once that appears (as in the video), hit 1105 and press enter by pressing the scroll wheel. It won’t work unless you get the channel banner to appear or take too long in between the number button presses.
