As great a port as MVC3 is, I still love part 2 the best. Still my favorite 2D fighter of all-time and when I fire up the Dreamcast, it's usually for that game. Also, I'm not much into the modern Marvel movies, and the roster was definitely inspired by those ... rather than the comic books. might be a stretch, but apparently repatch can do more than just patch games into english. freedom wars has this cheat NPC you can supposedly add, so a video about what you could add with re patch would be good. wonder what Minecraft mods there are...
Unfortunately vita never got to many fighter games that weren't ports or remasteries, or at least I couldn't find any at stores. Kof97, dark stalkers Chronicles: tower of something and sfa3 psp version were the only fighter games I have.
Yeah that is true undead, on the flip side though a lot of the PS Vita's fighting games were the definitive version in many cases, or at the very least included a good amount of extra content. :)
Looks like PS3 and Vita are losing another feature come October 27. Well, it's not really a feature, more a convenience. For whatever reason, you can still use credit cards and PayPal via the online store or PS4 or PS5.

that was nice, but i'm pretty sure that your favourite vita fighting game is dead or alive 5+. preeetty bouncy sure. i find it hard for myself to decide, because the vita really is a handheld for fighting game lovers. mk9, injustice, guilty gear, blaz blue, street fighter x tekken, skullgirls, under night inbirth, shinovi vs, garou mark of the wolf, mortal kombat unchained, samurai showdown 5, last blade 2 and more .... there are sooo many and good ones.
Yes I definitely agree soul, well the Vita didn't have the largest library of fighting games it did get quite a bit back in its early days. :)
I have UMVC 3 on steam so I don’t need it for Vita but I did got Street Fighter Vs Tekken instead which is okay but wish the frame rate is better
If you're into modding your Vita Jerry, you can always overclock it and that helps performance a lot.
might be a stretch, but apparently repatch can do more than just patch games into english. freedom wars has this cheat NPC you can supposedly add, so a video about what you could add with re patch would be good.
wonder what Minecraft mods there are...
Wow that's really cool, thanks for the heads up Geo! It's really amazing what the heck can community can do with the Vita!
I'm surprised that injustice gods among us didn't make the list
I'll definitely be including it in future segments, I was trying to showcase some games and maybe some people didn't know about yet.
another ace video james!
Thank you brother! :)
Looks like PS3 and Vita are losing another feature come October 27. Well, it's not really a feature, more a convenience. It seems you'll no longer be able to pay via credit cards or bank debit cards on the Vita and PS3 from October 27th onward. For whatever reason, you can still use credit cards and PayPal via the online store or PS4 or PS5.
Yeah I heard, Sony doing their thing again. :(
J-Stars victory was an awesome game! :)
Hey james i just got a email from sony with annoying news they said from now on the ps3 and ps vita you are no longer able to directly purchase games on the store with a credit/debit card you are now forced to buy store funds just thought id let you know if you didnt keep up the great work
Thank you so much for the heads up Daniel! Such sad news to hear, I'll have to definitely do a video for it in the future.
@@PSVitaat2am no problem also i forgot to mention it starts 27th of october and they said you have to buy the funds on the ps5 ps4 or website
I started Gundam Extreme VS-Force after buying it, but I started raging once I reached the 3rd Era in the Story Mode and forced myself to grind until I'm able to progress (pun intended lol)
still a fun game though and can't wait to return to it once I have spare time
Yeah I know what you mean Martin, just doing this video made me want to start playing it hardcore like I used to back in the day!
Did you hear, we can no longer use PS3 PlayStation store to make credit card purchases
Yeah I heard, Sony doing their thing again unfortunately. :(
you really know what thumbnail need to put
Hahaha, you know it! :)
Video Inspiration from Smash Bros Announcement 😁 i guess!
BTW one fact about Vita is most fighters released on system are special editions.
Yeah that is true, not to mention some of them were even the definitive version such as Street fighter x Tekken.
@@PSVitaat2am So true
I know it's a pervy game, but Senran Kagura Shinobi Versus is quite enjoyable as a fighting game. Also BlazBlue is awesome. And my favorite on the Vita which is Injustice Gods Among Us.
It's crazy to think of just how many great quality fighting games we got on the Vita!
Played mvc3 alot on vita until my thumbstick started getting shaved down great game and looks beautiful.
Very nice manny! I can tell from your comment alone that you must have really played it hardcore! And with good reason too it's one of the most solid fighters on the vita.
Thanka for the video. I also play ff dissidia but I didn't like that there are 2 ff dissidia on the store.
Were they both available to download on the Vita? I never checked.
@@PSVitaat2am there are like three, theres ff dissidia doudecum, ff dissidia with the good guys as the picture and ff dissidia with the bad guys as the picture
Yo, i just got an email saying that the ps3 and vita store wont let you buy useing a debit or credit card after the 20-something this month
It's sad really, Sony putting another nail into the Vita and PS3's coffin.
MvC3 has such an amazing cast because it's prior to the Disney acquisition.
Yes this is definitely a fact Dustin.
The Gundam game looks interesting ! 😯
Check it out, I'm sure you'll love it!
I know, maybe this question was asked many times but still... Do you try to play online on vita?
Me personally? No not really anymore just because that aside from cod and killzone most online Vita games are dead these days sadly. : (
Don't sleep on the ultimate meme fighter Divekick! It actually was/is pretty good.
PS Vita has great selection of fighting games. With the exception of Reality Fighters... Yuck😝
Hahaha, oh yeah I remember that game! XD
ULTIMATE MARVEL VS CAPCOM 3 FOREVER :)
I'm still playing the game in multi!
Is the online still pretty active?
I’m thinking to start to collect every fighting game on the vita that’s got a physical release but there are more questions I asked myself
1. How the hell i can find the king of fighters 97 that’s not gonna hurt my wallet? Limited Run Games really hard to find.
2. If i need any of the battle arena games? Because they not really fighting games and I don’t want to own any of them because all of them in vita sucks (maybe the gundom one is good but I’ve never played a gundom game)
If you're referring to the Dynasty Warriors style games they're actually pretty solid on Vita, my only complaint with them is that the frame rate can dip depending on the title.
@@PSVitaat2am actually I’m talking about the one piece & dragon ball z titles
I don’t care about dynasty warriors the only one i got is persona 5 strikes because i love persona 5. The dynasty warriors games are hack n slash titles not fighting games.
Oh so you're referring to One Piece Burning Blood I take it then?
@@PSVitaat2am yeah those type of games I’m talked about, I don’t know if i need them for trying to collect a full physical fighting games on vita because they not really fighting games.
I already own the more of the important fighting games like umvc3, x tekken, doa5, blazeblue, fighting climax ignition and the nrs games.
I only need to find few titles like the king of fighters 97 and skullgirls.
If you want to find a cheap version of Skullgirls, I would recommend picking up the Japanese import version. It has an English option. 🙂
Hey! I want a fighting which has a great story for my Vita! any recomendation?
Injustice: God's among us
Mortal Kombat 9
Blazblue. Although, I recommend playing the first 2 first on the ps3/360 or UA-cam their story mode. Story can be a little confusing at time, but it have some great characters and amazing dub to boot.
In my opinion the mortal Kombat and BlazBlue games were probably some of the best when it came to story lines.
I just got a email and it says that you can’t pay with card or PayPal after the 27th for PS3/Vita, not sure if you knew this.
Yeah I heard about it earlier today but haven't looked into it too much, will definitely have to do a video on it in the future. Thank you so much for the heads up Crest!
Mortal Kombat has to be my favorite vita fighter, followed by Tekken 5 dark ressurection (psp title), Soul calibur broken destiny (again psp title), and Dead or alive 5+
Oh yeah Tekken 5 dark Resurrection was awesome, I actually owned a physical copy of that for the PSP back in the day. Good memories!
@@PSVitaat2am heck yeah i got a physical copy of it too lying around. Always liked it better than tekken 6 just because of the slow motion replay after each fight got removed in 6 sadly.
After couple of years of not playing the vita, i picked the dusty thing today and started it up, has anything new come out in the past 2-3 years?
Yes we've been having a steady stream of games coming out for it all this time actually. Digital games ended back in July, but we are still getting new physical releases till the end of 2021 or for lucky early 2022. :)
Here's the fighting games I have on the Vita:
BlazBlue chronophantasma extend
BlazBlue continuum shift 2 extend
Dead or Alive 5 plus
Mortal Kombat
Ultimate marvel vs Capcom 3
Arcana Heart 3 love max
Dengeki bunko fighting climax
Nice! That is a fantastic list of fighting games you have there! 🤗
the thumbnail is uhhh a bit sus
Dat Android fan service!
Just got an email from Sony saying that you won't be able to make purchases via credit card on Psvita and PS3 to quote "Enhance online security for all PS3 and Psvita owners" lol what bs.
Yeah it sounds like another LBP situation again, where the company is supposedly trying to protect us, but it's really all about money. :(
I can’t recommend Under Night In-birth enough...for me the best fighting game on the vita with a ton of content
That is a great choice, I'll have to include it in the next installment. :-)
Gotta go with UMVC3 and Street Fighter X Tekken. The latter is the closest we'll ever get to SF 4.
Yes this is true, at least without the aid of remote play.
Garou Mark of the wolves plays well on the vita.
Yep that is a solid port! I still have fun memories of playing that game back on the dreamcast.
👐 💙 PS ViTA 2 ❤️ 👐
✌💌😖
I certainly hope so someday! :-)
i used to love fighting games, but i got tired of losing so now i only do brawlers.
do you know any easy vita fighting game?
You mean like traditional one-on-one fighting game Simon? Off the top of my head I can't really think of any with easy trophies.
♥️♥️♥️SONY 4LiFE💙💙💙
Yes I quite agree, thank you so much for watching my friend! :-)
Lol everyone saying marvel vs capcom 3 but I can never find a online match
I know right? These days it's pretty dead but it was really stellar back in the day.
@@PSVitaat2am I got the ps vita so late, but I did played this game at a friend's on ps3
Yes fighting games! a genre I love but suck at😅
Me too, especially when it comes to titles such as BlazBlue!
Minecraft also you can fight each other
You do have a point there! XD
💙💙 S O N Y ♥️♥️
Sony Sony Sony Sony sony!
Only one... UnderNight In:Birth.
Oh you have great taste!
Who give you a thumbs down? Says part I anyway.
Yeah that's why I made sure to include that on the title, because while the PS Vita didn't have a ton of fighting games it still did have a good overall amount.
Dead or alive extreme ps vita ;) fight with big bazookas ;) if u know what I mean
That's the single reason to play it in the first place ken! Can I get a heck yeah?! XD
Heck ya!
Well you don’t know anything about good games why do you even make videos if you don’t have knowledge of certain type of games. You missed AAA titles like dead or alive 5+,Street fighter x tekken, mortal kombat, injustice and dead or alive 3
Don't worry man I will include those in future videos. The problem is if I would have put just those on the list is that it would have been very predictable, those games are popular and are already in tons of other top 10 fighting games on the Vita. I was just trying to introduce people to some games that they may not have heard of before is all. :)
