Please help I have the same error but everytime i open vitashell. I have no LOLicon installed because I couldn't use vitashell to do anything. Running on 3.65 before now on 3.70 same issue. Always when i open vitashell.
To anyone who is watching this video in 2023. How I fixed this issue wasn’t me disabling overclocking or my sd2vita adapter. It was the cheats I had activated when playing Plants vs Zombies. I noticed that it was the cheats because the game would load but then once it got to menu the gpu crashed. So before buying a new adapter or moving plugins try checking if cheats codes are causing your game to crash.
bro i just clicked to open the adrenaline, and then my gpu crashed, the screen was so glitched and i couldn't read anything so i held down the power button and now the PS button is flashing a light but nothing appears on the screen
@@silvaaazxz that might be that something is wrong with your motherboard on the vita if the gpu crashes and the screen glitches up and now that you say that nothing will show up on your vita when booting
@@MaxRoge probably man, but i kept trying and my vita went into safe mode finally, i was able to restart it there and everything went back to normal, lol i was so scared bc i dont wanna buy another one or repair the motherboard

I have a psvita fat running 3.70 with trinity exploit and I managed to fix this issue by going to the tai folder on the uxO and moving its contents to the tai folder on the urO, after this I deleted the tai folder from the uxO only leaving the tai folder on the urO and then reloaded the taiHen config on the henkaku settings.
Make sure to reboot the vita for changes to take place

i always have my psps running max 333 i wonder if thats ok, i never have problems. Would i save battery life if i ran lower? i also wont run at max for games or emulators unless i change every time
it does save battery to run lower, that's why they are options to underclock it

I got this once using Easy Plug-in. Thankfully, it reset and no issues. Deleted easy plug-in right away. Lol Hasn't happened since

Hey james, i used to have that error all the time (like a year ago). I realized that before getting it, the game i was playing started to glitch, like getting "graphic spikes" and distortions in game. Usually with games like gravity rush, FFX HD and some others. I really dont remember how i fixed it, i know i left a post in reddit for ppl who might need it. But now its all good, didnt need to change the motherboard as some other ppl told me.

I'm experiencing the same problem, it was only graphical glitches first, such as "spike glitch" like you mentioned before.
And now it's getting even worse, i got that "GPU crash" mesages, even tho i'm just scrolling down on Ps Vita Menus
Just do a backup in your pc then format the memory 2 restore the system star again hack the vita and do a downgrade to 3.60!that is the best and stable versionnfor hack vita

It's got nothing to do with overclocking or tai plugins. Mine are all installed correctly and only in 1 place.
This error message only happens to me on the homebrew store app. Does it all the time. Buggy code? Perhaps
This issue is not directly caused by bad plugins or having them in ur0/urx partitons or using an official Sony card.. I have had this happen on a new exploited 3.65 console (H-Encore) on a freshly formatted 4gb Sony card and using a formatted Sd2vita (128gb) using no plugins at all. It has occurred using the Homebrew Browser and using the Custom Theme browser/downloader for me.
Mine keeps freezing and I have to keep powering it off and on, but it only happens when the WiFi on the system is on. Can anyone tell me how to fix this,Any suggestions tech James ?

I was playing Mario on mGBA and my shit just crashed too lol. All i did was hold the power button and it entered safe mode, then i pressed restart system and it works now

You can edit in vitashell or connect to PC use notepad to edit.
How to do this on 1:21 i tried what you said select+upper left control but its just hovering to other apps it didnt show any information just like what you did.

Mine crashed after I downloaded NFL Blitz from my phone and used FTP to transfer it to my vita, don't know how to fix that I deleted and re-downloaded the game 3 times and I thought the regular clock was 333mgz?
So, the issue I've been having with mine is that the Sleep function doesn't work. It turns back on periodically And it kills that battery. I have hankaku enso, 3.60 and sd2vita
Hardware issue? I guess you could try that "no lockscreen" plugin to see if your vita just has some weird sleep-mode hiccup and it might adjust something to fix that, but I would think that it's your power button that is registering as being pressed.
Edit: Or if you're really down, you could format it and reinstall everything with fingers crossed. Just unlikely that'll fix it imo.

Base on my experience. This always happened on PSV3.65 perma enso. So I'm pretty sure this may possible a firmware bug. I did go back and use the 3.60 hack and i never got the error screen again :3

It happened with my old vita because the memory was damaged. That error stop happeing when I start using Sd2Vita.
that happens because of fragmentation of files in the sd card. use defraggler.exe to solve gpu crash
I had this issue before but not because I was using an overclock plugin..it happened to me once when I was browsing the Homebrew browser app it was the version before the latest release I was browsing through some homebrews and my GPU crashed but my vida did not go into safe mode
So it just turned back on fine? And didn't happen again?

this happen just on fat vita but not slim, i try every method on internet but no luck, for example :
- enable airplane mode
- move your tai config from ur0 to ux0
- upgrade from 3.60 to 3.65
- and try many many many ways
the only method works for me is..
- uninstall all plugins and enso
i dont know why since i uninstal that my fat vita just fine.

As a matter of fact overclocking your CPU to 500Mhz and your GPU to 333Mhz doesn't pose any danger to your PSV.
There's a reason why the Vita has a long battery life and doesn't overheat much. That's because it's severely under-clocked.
In theory, the Vita's CPU's (ARM Cortex-A9 MPCore) clock speed can go up to 1.2Ghz - 2Ghz. While the GPU's (PowerVR SGX543MP4+) clock speed can go up to 600Mhz.
Much like the Switch's GPU. It's under-clocked below 1Ghz but with some tricks and hacks you can overclock it to up to 2Ghz.
My Vita is not overheating at all. I don't know maybe it's just me because I live in a rather cold place.

It's max performance btw. Honestly I only downclock the vita for games and vn that doesn't need vita's real power, also PSP titles runs perfectly fine with the vita downclocked to the lowest settings. Downclocking will improve battery life.
I used to play at least 12 hours of Fate Extra on a downclocked Vita before the battery reach 15%. Of course the vita was on plane mode, at the lowest brightness and no filters. While say a vita game like Fate Extella at regular frequency runs for 4 hours, I guess at max performance it will last 2.5 hours.
If you use Adrenaline always downlock the vita, because Adrenaline forces the vita to run at max speed for some reason. Don't do it on vsh menu, that is just some "emulated" speed, it will only slow down your psp emulation but still drain as much battery.
interesting.. hypermiling a vita and got 12 hours.. no way. Unless it includes rest periods i mean that just seems like waay too much

Of course not 12 straight hours! But when I tried to beat the game some days I was able to play 4-5 hours and still have plenty of battery left (more than 50%), so I had to recharge the vita on the third game session when the battery was around 26% and was able to squeeze around an hour before recharging it at 12%.
Keep in mind you two that Fate Extra is a psp game and I was playing it on Adrenaline, as I said before, plane mode, no extra filters(so in all its pixelated glory) and lowest brightness (sometimes I used vitabright lowest setting when the default lowest brightness was annoying my eyes). What really tank the battery performance in Adrenaline is AA and or smoothing, I tried a few days with it and was barely able to get 3.5 hours before recharging.
*Vita game default settings usually are* : cpu 333mhz,bus 222 mhz, gpu and xbar at 111-166mhz, *Max Performance* (which adrenaline forced to) was cpu at 444mhz, bus and gpu at 222mhz and xbar at 166mhz. While *downclocked to the lowest* everything is at 111mhz, thus getting 10+ hours on Adrenaline is not impossible.

Then just use vitashell, copy the plugin in ur0 tai file and to ux0 tai file. Then edit the config file with vitashell change all ur0 to ux0 and save. Then go into setting with henkaku, press Reload taiHen config.txt and after reboot your vita will be ok.
Fyi. I just mod my vita 2 days ago. Then I have this problem. Then I found this video. After yesterday I get my Sd2vita. Today I only follow what reddit do.
The final step after I amend config and reboot, I still have error. So I now delete the 2 config I saw in ur0, tai and oldtai folder. So far now still ok. If anything I will update here.

Rhon RE4M i did this, but the my game only runs for about 30 mins..and then gpu crash again. Btw it always mess with my games Resident evil, dynasty warriors8, god eater..the other games works fine tho.

Only overclock the vita when your playing a game. When your in the xmb menu change everything back to normal. This should prevent crashes.

disconnect and reconnect the battery either physically or by turning off the battery controller by holding PS+L+select+start+power for about 20 seconds and then connect it to power and turn it on
I got the same error message. But I actually triggered it. I deleted a bunch of code on a PNG file in vita shell. Then KABOOM REALISTIC EXPLOSION SOUND, it crashed

Rafat Hussain tried this but the plugins I installed on ux0 just doesnt seem to be read by the system. It just keep on refering to the ur0. Any solutions for my system to read only ux0 plugins?

Hi James, had this same issue a while back, I think its an issue with the GPU's, it will only get worse over time, I tried every thing, even went as far as doing a GPU reflow, I eventually had to replace the mother board

Yeah, this has nothing to do with GPU clockspeed (mine has never been overclocked) or "Vita loading from both two memories at the same time" (which doesn't even make sense, HENkaku's developers aren't that dumb). The PCH-1000 series is simply inferior in some ways and the more plugins you load, the less stable it'll get. You'll notice it's always the owners of the original PS Vita that has this problem.
PCH-2000 technically uses the same SoC but with a minor version update (CXD5316GG vs PCH-1000's CXD5315GG); I suspect the newer chip is less prone to overheating. iPad (3rd gen) also uses the same GPU and was also known for their overheating issues.
Changing the motherboard will fix the issue but it's likely going to come back eventually so your best bet might be to just get a second-hand PCH-2000.
Can confirm that even Vita TV is crashing. I've played Resident Evil Revelations at max overclock and after a while I keep getting crashes thinking it was the overclock plugin. That was 1 year ago I just setup my Vita TV again today and I'm getting random GPU crashes even without overclock. Heck I've even reflashed 3.60 and removed henkaku it's the same thing.
I think that there are batches of Vita units produced before slim tend to have short longevity because of fragile hardware.
I think once the GPU chip is overheated to a certain temperature it gets permanently damaged.
I've replaced the thermal pads on my Vita TV and even without henkaku once I boot it and launch a legit game if I quit the game all the bubbles have weird artifacts and the unit is not even that hot since I just booted it up

Try to do this, I deleted "tai" folder in ux0 from vitashell
