Neurovoider and Binding of Isaac are really great top down shooters in the vein of the games featured. The art style of those games really pop on the OLED and BoI controls flawlessly on Vita. Josh Groban likes his Vitas to pop
How could I forget about Dead Nation! I could swear that I played it on my PS3 but can't remember if I finish it and James thanks for let us know about Neon Chrome, I'll try those two games for sure.
I love Neon Chrome!! Its one of my favorite shooters. I played Dead Nation on PS3 way back ago. I want to check out the mech game and the Wanted game I wonder if they ever go on deep sale
I prefer to play a lot of top down shooters on Vita. I like playing Binding of Isaac even though it's crazy vanilla on Vita. Neon Chrome was better on Vita than PS4. The best Super Stardust is the vita version. I feel it's almost like mini arcade cabinet in your hands with the OLED and doubled sticks for top down blast em up games. Resogun I hear is fun
Since redoing the hack on my V1 Vita a few days ago, I've been going through your videos all over again looking for titles to get. I've gotten ~60 Vita games and ~30 PSP/PSX games. I was worried my 128gb sd wouldn't be enough for me, buuuut I've still got 40ish gb's left.
Yeah I know what you mean, and because many of the environments were so dark it was sometimes hard to tell where you were at. Still a solid experience.
The mech game and Neon Chrome are legit actually HIDDEN gems. Not just underrated games, they are completely unknown to almost everyone. Good to see them in this video
Dead Nation needs a lot of love. It's somewhat hard to play solo. It's crazy. I don't think the online mode is shut down BUT this is Vita so it's possible that nobody cares about playing it online. I think the only Vita games that are still alive online are Call of Duty, Freedom Wars and Helldivers. Other games that are barely holding on in activity: Killzone (which is sad cause it's in the top 100) and Street Fighter X Tekken.
I'll be honest I'm really shocked to hear that about Killzone, you think that would be tied along with Call of Duty for most active online PS Vita game.
@@PSVitaat2am people play Call of Duty cause they feel is easier than Killzone. They don't want to admit it but people constantly complain about playing Killzone online cause it's challenging.
Dead Nation is a gem on the Vita. Sadly, Neon Chrome didn't do it for me, due to its poor performance, but that was a long time ago. Maybe it's been fixed in a patch?
Good video! Some great underrated shooters for the Vita, I will have to take a look at them! I thought sure you would mention Breach by LRG for the Vita! Nice! And, No! I do not own a copy of it!
I began to play Dynasty Warriors Godseekers and I fall in love with the game just in a few days played 15 hours, anyone have any advice for likely games? I take a quick look at gamefaq page for turned based tactics but couldnt find.
Idk I always liked the look of Operation Tokyo more just because Osaka looked like your trapped in a ship the whole time but some of Operation Tokyo looked like your on city streets.
Weird. I dont think I ever heard of Neon Chrome before. 🤣 Glad to see it get some recognition. Even though James only played maybe 5 minutes of the game, at least that's what the trophy system told me. 😂🤣
@@angusrumplemeyer1791 haha yea it’s great ! I 100% it on PS5 was really fun. I also played Jydge from the developer - also super fun I enjoyed it more !
Hahaha! I actually have played more of it, it's a confusing situation. See I have my main account, plus I have a backup account that devs used to send me samples of their digital games with to talk about on the channel, then I have even a third account that I share with a buddy that allows us to share digital games. So yeah it's kind of confusing when it comes to my trophies, since I only use my main account to play games just for fun. 😵
The first game looks like the most interesting of the bunch. A dungeon crawler shooter with big-ass robots should be great. The areas look barren though. It could've had more enemies.
I managed xlin kai by myself :/ but I dont know if it works because nobody plays with it, if somebody of you wants to help me please leave a message here.
Been in the comment section and I've been seeing a lot of stuff with PS Vita and switch here's the thing if the PSP does actually as powerful as the specs include this could mean that some Triple-A titles could be played on the PS Vita maybe some re-releases of older games there's a lot of possibilities especially the touch screen I think that if the PS Vita Homebrew scene keeps going the way it is we're going to see so much power coming out of the switch and the PS Vita that people are going to think why didn't we think of doing that ourselves
Good point there, I guess as more news develops on what's possible with these two platforms, it will be interesting to see what the future holds for them. 🙂
NEON CHROME!! Who needs thoughtful meticulously designed levels when you can have endless boring and mediocre levels designed by an algorithm. Sure, these levels may be absolute crap with absolutely no thought put into them in the way the levels should flow the way a great level designer would but at least you'll be able to play them forever. Who needs 8 hours of awesome fun when you can have 80 hours of boredom?
Cuz we all know Sony is trying to let go the PS Vita as fast as they possibly can and the fans for the PS Vita don't want that to happen unlike the 3DS which 3DS kind of hit rock bottom
Let's keep this one happy and focus on how all these games are great 😃 Vita has hundreds of interesting unknown games that came and went, like Neon Chrome or Operation Tokyo, that the community can unearth for years to come
With the ability to remap the buttons I would recommend any PSP first person shooters.
Youp this games are craps …

Ah yes some good advice here, PSP had a lot of great FPS games! 😁
How do you remap the buttons? I tried using the second analog in PSP games and I didn't find a way to do it.

No complaints for me here! Those are awesome choices MPH! 💪
I been stuck on Issac for several months now. Kind of wish I would've started playing sooner
I've tried to play Hotline Miami on PC, but it really is best experienced on the Vita
Just can't be having those twin sticks! 😁
I enjoy your vids, man. Keep em coming
Much appreciated buddy, you're the best!
I like the neon chrome it feels like hotline Miami
It's a very fun game

Unfortunately at this point probably not, unless Sony decides to give the PS4 versions of some of these games a chance.
although i usually play shooters with mouse and keyboard, i might play some on my vita as well

getting some smash tv vibes from these and that's a good thing

I know right? To be honest that kind of killed the whole scare factor for me in that game. You're right it is fun though.

Never really been a shooter on portable games but might try maybe cod but that is huge storage take ;-;
Killzone Mercenary is the best exclusive FPS for any portable ever, including Switch. It's better than many console shooters in fact.
The games featured on here are more over the head shooters, which in my opinion work very well on Vita. 🙂

I can understand that, Plus in my opinion Tokyo required a bit more strategy.
