Happy day to you all Bless ya Doctor Wright ❤✨️🙏🫶
You are most welcome.
And make sure they are an actual lipedma doctor. I went to get lipedma reduction sx from a dr who claimed to be someone who performed the sx. He left my legs lumpy and misshapen, and I no recourse because there were no complications with the sx itself.
Dr Wright, I have stage 3 to 4 lipedema. I have struggled with putting on compression stockings due to severe arthritis in my hands , it is next to Impossible to pull them up with such pain in my hands. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Yes, they have velcro wraps made by manufacturers like Medi and Sigvaris. Please see someone about getting fit for them.
How do we know if we should get the surgery though? I’m missing an answer to that question. For my part I don’t have a lot of pain unless I’m standing for hours. I have heaviness of course, probably stage 3 lipedema. If I don’t feel like I desperately need surgery because of pain, should I still have surgery done?

We recommend starting with a proper diagnosis by a doctor who is knowledgeable about lipedema. If the diagnosis is confirmed, start with non-surgical treatment (for more info visit www.lipedema.net/Lipedema-Treatment.html) and consider surgical reduction if symptoms are not controlled by the non-surgical/conservative measures (for more info on surgical treatment, visit www.lipedema.net/overview-liposuction-lipedema.html). Wishing you the best of health.
