Man, King's Field 4 OSTs are such a vibe. It really sets the atmosphere in an area where you are... Not to mention, this soundtrack is somewhat Ghastly, especially at 0:27.
This is one of my favorite instrumental ever. It disappeared from my favorites playlist and I couldn't find it, it mad me so disappointed. Now due to sheer luck of multiple comments and random references I stumbled on the past few minutes, I managed to find this again. I'm so happy man. Basically some random thing I saw mentioned King's field in some way, then I looked through an OST playlist and someone in the comments of the video I decided to look at the comments of said that this song was missing and now I am here!
omg thank you! greetings from Austria. THIS was the Game of my Teenage Years... It was hard but the Rewards and the Feeling when did something huge and SAVED at the Savingstatue... when the memorycard sayd saved and again on memory card 2 then i was happy. ^^
YES, the game has an overall dark and lonely tone all the time, and that makes it so deep and atmospheric, and also yes the game is very rewarding for the people who like to explore every nook and cranny in all of the areas, though, it gets ridiculously easy towards the end (because of all the equipment and magic spells you get) buy anyway I enjoyed every minute I played it back in 2018.
@@EddieEddieEddie90 omg i drove it ridicilously looong, dont wanted that it ends xD i drove it so far that i onehitted EVERYTHING on the last level with the Demon after you fell in the Abyss xD. On the Windybridge with the orges on, where you can let you fall you down, you can kill these enemys, make a loop and they back xD THAT WAS GRINDING Haha. But yes as Child i was surged everyday on THIS single game. 🤣 Problem was... the demon WAS supposed the live 3 hits... and i kill it with 1 hit with the moonlight sword and it triggered the bad ending 🤣👍 broked game, yes!
I wanted to find music for my new trailer and found myself coming back to your channel everytime I need a song, thanks for consistent, amazing quality!
@@EddieEddieEddie90 I'm looking for something dramatic and intense like the dark reality track from King's Field IV. I just ran out of songs so any suggestions would be much appreciated!
@@anunthinkablemess1240 "King's Field I: Decline" maybe? I at least like that one. Also, while it's super different, Nier: Replicant's soundtrack is dramatic and intense. If you want to have some PS2 era stuff, I'd check out Drakensang maybe? It's Nier's predecessor and while I haven't heard much of the soundtracks, it's the next best place where I personally would look.
im revisting these often as i use it as custom music in my game (mute in game music slider) i noticed ur name is Dsparil! i just played heretic for the first time this october
0:31 I love the uncanny breathing in this section. As if someone is suffocating in their armor
At some point in the future it's inevitable that I'll have to suffer through this game just because of how good the music is.
It really was worth it, having never played a fromsoftware game I didn't know what to expect, was blown away
It's a great game, treat yourself and play it sometime (I recommend keeping a guide nearby in case you get stuck, lol). There's nothing else like it.
I definitely wouldn’t say suffer, it’s a fantastic experience
Trying to get through it rn. Died immediately in the first 5 seconds
@@8DarthGhost8 The oldest tradition of Fromsoft. Letting players die 5 seconds into the game lol.
What a grand and gothic composition, this hits so hard
I miss this game, won't lie. Getting the moonstone sword was like a YES FUCK YEAH to my child hood
This is such a strangely beautiful song. I'm obsessed.
This song is so peak, I can listen to it all day

Bruh this song slaps I was only hunting for it for a day but when I heard it I knew where to go this was in my ps2 past I’ll never forget ❤
Dude, you're a god send. I've been looking for an extended version of the entire ost. Good work.
One thing I learned these past two months is that is not hard to make this kind of videos. So I do the ones I wanna see.

This song here really gave you the dark error or the dark age vibes when going through all those corridors

Good old times plating KFIV on weekends during my middle school years. I still play the game from time to time.
My favorite ost💝
The artwork goes insanely hard
Totally not here thanks to a certain now-retired content creator for Elden Ring. Nope, no siree!
unretired now it seems
