@@magemage9370 you could administer insulin in the outer upper arm. And yes it is given subcutaneously. Dont massage the area after administration and dont forget to rotate the injection site in order to prevent lipodystrophy

Hey! Would you know the most common dosage mix recommend for a 50/50 mix? Is 10 units of cloudy and 10 units of clear the most commonly recommended dosage in general as a mix?

No this is all individual and important to remember that patients are all on different sliding scales for insulin.

If there are pre-mixed insulin already, why do we need to use the mixed NPH and RGULR?
Because you might not have that available depending on the setting in which you work. Cost is a big factor in this. More convenient = more expensive
