  • This a demonstration of how to apply multiple colors/materials/textures to an object in 3ds Max using Polygon material IDs and the Multi/Sub-object material assigned to the object.
    This video explains the steps to convert an object to an Editable polygon mesh, how to adjust the material IDs, how to access the Slate Material Editor, how to create Physical Material nodes, how to adjust the Base Color, and how to wire the Physical Materials into the Multi/Sub-object node.
