We were around a fire, in my giant backyard, that was like a scene from a Disney movie. As cliche as it is I really felt like Alice, Endless flower gardens, apple trees, the lilacs, the rays of the moonlight streaking through the branches of lilac bushes in the warm summer breeze. Everything was the most perfect it has ever been that night.
The vocalist is Maynard James Keenan whom happens to also be the vocalist of Tool... This song is actually a sequel to a song called "Pet"... also this song isn't typical of APC's sound...

So this is a song that was put to a photo slide show from the Marines in Iraq from the year before us that we basically Used as a way to desensitize our selves from what we were about to be apart of… it was dark but affective. As well as creepily motivating to our young warrior culture. Kind of fucked up but necessary.
