This looks amazing but do you think the air vents being partially covered is a big deal?
Personally, no. I’ve had it on for months now and have no issues with the vents. The way i mounted it gives a lot of space between the unit
I'm gonna be honest, I've owned my 10 Series FRS for 4 years now and I never use those vents. Hot or cold, I always use the defroster+feet setting and it'll cool down and keep my car cool.

Bought this and just installed it and inly my driver side door is working. Im nit getting sound from anywhere else. Any ideas?
Did I miss the backup camera install? Or did it just connect with the OEM the harness and the RCA plug??

i have toyota 2018 86 and the back up camera is on the rear view mirror the oem can i just still put it there and just put the head unit without issue ?
I’m not 100% sure but there’s more than likely an adapter that will allow you to use your oem camera. You just have to check what type of connection it is

I just imported a 2017 GT86 and getting my ohone to play music is hit and miss, pmus language Japanese only.
Tomorrow i go install Kenwood unit.

That reverse camera is awful, something not right with it.
Does this unit work for 2017+ BRZ/GT86s, ie after the update? Seems most videos show these installations on the pre-facelist models (2016 and before). Thanks in advance.

How is the AC with the middle ones being partially blocked?
Feels the same to me, it only slightly blocks the vents, i have them pointed up but either way the side vents is more than enough for me and the car gets cool just as fast
do you have to install the back up camera, to have a back up camera for the display ? or does it keep the stock one if you don't
There’s a way to connect the stock one to it. It should be plug in if not you can buy and adapter for it.

Yeah, you might just need to get an adapter of some sort . I will look into it

Ya I put all the wires, and just the little speakers work, but the doors no, just wanted to know if there was anything else you hooked up on the unit??

I check all the wiring and is correct, did you have to go in the settings to do anything??

From the edge of the roof to the pillars and down the driver side over the pedals into the center console
