- In Today's Video we start working on the Interior of the FRS/BRZ/86. We install some Carbon Fiber interior trim pieces that complement the Carbon Fiber Steering Wheel that we installed not too long ago and it came out amazing in my opinion! We also add a 9 Inch Display Head Unit from Idoing and this is by far one of the Top 5 Best Mods you can do. This Headunit was super easy to install and was a well worth modification. We also add some footwell lighting to the interior and replace a couple of parts that needed to be replaced like the center console. I installed that last year on my brz along with reverse camera and subwoofer. Didn't need to splice any cables. I'd recommend setting the device to have a delay before turning off (just in case of that rare stall) and there's an option to set the starting volume level. Default was 16, I set mine to 6
thanks for the suggestion 🔥 going to do all of those setting changes right now. Is there a subwoofer you would recommend? I am contemplating getting a smaller one for this car
@ARHAMALVI I just got the 10" oem subaru one, was plug and play which made it easy to install and it was a good price

@@ARHAMALVI is it literally just all plug and play? Apple carplay works straight out of the box? No routing cables or anything?
@@cheex9861 yeah literally plug and play, just had to route the mic and the apple car play usb cables (extras). Wired them through the glovebox cause I wanted a cleaner look but that’s totally optional. Mic i wired up top but hidden so it looks cleaner. Will show it in the next vid🙏🏽

Noticed today that the AMP was not connected so sound quality wasn't great so I had to tap the AMP wire that comes with the IDoing kit into the AMP wire which is part of the regular harness. Was superrr easy to do tbh and only took me 5 mins and now it sounds much better. Ill attach a video in the description of exactly what I am talking about and Ill explain a lil more in the next video! Just wanted to update you
