It's so funny watching Lost in Space now, the way Smith frequently uses the Robinson kids as a human shield for instance. Hard to not find him hilarious.
Dr. Smith screaming: "Ohhh ,oh dear an alien spider. That ghastly looking thing is looking at me! William my dear boy come and protect meeee. It's getting closer." Will Robinson: "Oh for Pete's Sake Dr. Smith it's just a tiny little spider. You can even step on it. Don't be afraid." Dr. Smith: "What? Me afraid? Never. Why I'll have you know ( scrams ) Ohhh ohhhh dear that dreadful spider just go on my leg. Helpppp." Robot in the background laughing. He hehehehehehe ( cough )
As a six to 10 year old boy, this show was creepy as hell, with these creepy, cheesy, low-budget monsters and special effects, and with Smith's hysterical screaming at every turn, it had *ME* screaming... so, I guess the show was a success on that level. This kind of paper mache CAMP scared the p*ss out of me when I was a kid, and it still does.
Haha I know what you're talking about man, my dad grew up watching this show and when me and my sister were kids he bought the DVD collection of lost and space for us 3 to watch together before bed and we were hooked. When you are just a kid your imagination is huge and wouldn't really care/notice the cheesy effects and makeup that they used with the monsters. I remember seeing some of the hideous creepy looking aliens when I was younger and it threw it over the top whenever the show introduces one with the build up of the suspenseful music which leads to Dr.Smith turning around and screaming in horror of whats in front of him lol. As a kid you are pretty locked on with the show and you don't expect some of the nightmarish aliens that seem to come out of nowhere like at 2:53 ( I remember the look of this alien and it freaked me out how hideous it looked when I was a kid lol ) whenever it seems like nothing out of the ordinary is going to happen when Will, Penny and Dr.Smith are just doing a play and then cue random scary looking alien haha. Good times
the highlight of my school week was watching Lost In space circa 1974 . Irwin Allen was a genius and Dr Smith not only a cult creation but his legacy will live on for generations
I had forgotten what a variety of monsters they had on L in S. Very imaginative. If any of us met any of them I bet we would scream too. Smith, Will and the robot were a scream together.
Love the triple scream at 1:22 when he sees Athena. The guy that was always there when you really needed him..... Not. If it were'nt for his delicate back, he would have shown them all the meaning of the words hard work. When someone I'm with is carrying on about a little pain or difficult circumstances, I say stop "Dr. Smith'n it"
Aaah, this is great! As kids, our favorite part was always Dr. Smith's screaming, and here they are, just the screams! We used to practice those screams, but never could get it close to the Dr. Smith level of perfection. :-D
I loved the Spaghetti Monster at 1:31 into the video. He was always scary as hell. He reminded me of some dude who my mother dumped a huge pot of spaghetti and tomato sauce over.
Dr. Smith is certainly in the Top 10 of Scream Queens; he's legendary. He does have some serious competition in Lady Felicia of Father Brown. But my favorite memory of Dr. Smith is his "Oh, the pain, the pain!" I quote him often.
The Spaghetti Monster at 1:31 into the video was always my favorite. He caused Dr. Smith to pass out and he never even touched Smith. I called him the Spaghetti Monster because he looked like my mother dumped a huge bowl of Spaghetti and Tomato sauce on him.
Absolutely brilliantly hammy, camp, and downright hysterical . Great memories of childhood watching Lost in Space, and laughing myself stupid at his antics 😂
excellent edits,,all credit to you...its amazing that in all interviews, nobody asked him about those screams....and how appropriate to finish with guy williams,,,he was a good baddy character,,,,and amazing again nobody did an interview with williams in all that time...
Thank you for posting this hilarious reel. Never thought to check UA-cam for this stuff till tonight and I was rewarded by this hilarious highlight reel. Now on to check out the one that says "Was Dr. Smith gay ?"
Jonathan Harris certainly had the talent and vocal energy to do that. It's halerious. I wander if he ever had a sore throat from those classic screams.🤭😄😄😄👍🇭🇲🦘🐨
When I was a kid every once in a while my brother and I would give a Dr. Smith scream just to see my mother jump. Of course she hit me or my brother. That was our game. If you got hit first you won
Interesting how he's so enamoured with the Golden Man, but totally petrified by the pretty Green Lady blowing kisses at him. When I was a kid, that confused the Hell out of me. Now I get it. Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!
Dr. Smith was hilarious! The breakaway star of a very entertaining series that delighted my childhood! By the way, now that I am an adult and with the change of time [we are not as innocent as we were back then], it is clear that Dr. Smith was a queen! LOL. There were a couple of "gays" back then. Uncle Arthur from Bewitched was clearly gay and so was Rip Taylor.
That Jonathan Harris was off the chain he was the master of scary and screaming he could out scream James Brown he gets so nervous he dropped the laser pistol at run
The greatest scream queen in sci-fi
He has nothing on Tucker Carlson 🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈 Oh Tuckems
I would have given him 10 Oscars that scream is worth a million bucks
It's so funny watching Lost in Space now, the way Smith frequently uses the Robinson kids as a human shield for instance. Hard to not find him hilarious.
The art of self preservation, expertly shown by Dr Smith😁.
Dr. Smith screaming: "Ohhh ,oh dear an alien spider. That ghastly looking thing is looking at me! William my dear boy come and protect meeee. It's getting closer."
Will Robinson: "Oh for Pete's Sake Dr. Smith it's just a tiny little spider. You can even step on it. Don't be afraid."
Dr. Smith: "What? Me afraid? Never. Why I'll have you know ( scrams ) Ohhh ohhhh dear that dreadful spider just go on my leg. Helpppp."

Ay Sonny Jim of the Past,
Theyre remaking Lost in Space on Netflix...
....Which could either be good or bad
Oh, the pain. The pain.
_This is just as soothing as a diseased liberal's muffled-screams and death-rattles, emanating through my favorite Smother-Pillow._
Dr Smith is simply the best. So camp and memorable. Love him! The screams and the fainting! Brilliant.
My fav is “Oh the pain.” Wish there was a vid on that. Used to be one devoted to him saying “creature”, ha!,
Dr. Smith's screams are legendary
Tears are streaming down my face watching this.
2:59 When you're in the shower and the water suddenly goes cold.
Just started watching this show for the first time and it grew on me. The combo of the robot and Dr. Smith really made the show great.
Double Toasted sent me...
Me too lol
Me three 😂
Me four
Me five
Me six

Best Man Screamer in Tv history.
yeah he was pretty much the show, LOL!!
Ah, the incomparable Dr. Smith. Everything great about humanity in one tidy little package. :)
the highlight of my school week was watching Lost In space circa 1974 . Irwin Allen was a genius and Dr Smith not only a cult creation but his legacy will live on for generations
Best non-girly cowardly screams in history. Admittedly, some of those monsters and things are damn scary.
Yeah right .... He must be from California or somethin
Non-girly? Okkkkkkkkk....
Non-Girly? He's screaming like a little bitch.
Best TV screams ever! Dr. Smith gets me every time.
This compilation is hilariously awesome 😂😂😂
You’re right. Best screams ever! Too funny
Dr smith and the Robot were the first comedy act I really liked as a kid of 6 years of age.
Comedy gold
The whole 2020 mood up in a single video.
This made me remember how great Lost in Space was.
the 60's version of C3-PO. Good audio, scared the piss outta the landlord!
I had forgotten what a variety of monsters they had on L in S. Very imaginative. If any of us met any of them I bet we would scream too. Smith, Will and the robot were a scream together.
I loved the Spaghetti Monster at 1:31 into the video. He scared the hell out of me when I was a kid.
Who here is from Bill Burr’s interview on Conan? Lol
I am indeed
Dr smith had the best screams !!!😀

Loooovvvveeee Doctor Smith what a legend.
Dr Smith is my spirit animal. XD
This was never a part of my childhood, but I wish it had. I feel nostalgic just watching it... which makes zero sense
Aaah, this is great! As kids, our favorite part was always Dr. Smith's screaming, and here they are, just the screams! We used to practice those screams, but never could get it close to the Dr. Smith level of perfection. :-D

Those screams sent me back 55 plus years lol
No stand up I've seen on UA-cam, had me laughing so hard, "screaming "along with tears..
Hello 👋 I was L😃L all through this video Wow Thank 🎈 You for the laughs and memories December 7,2021
Double toasted brought me here
ShadowGundam1989 Double Toasted brought everyone here 😂 this is too funny!

😅😅😂😂🤣🤣🤣 Dr Smith sure was a good actor 👍👌😃 loved Lost In Space!
The screams were the best part of every episode
I used to wait for that scream. I was 13 in 1995.
Old Queen screaming love it :D
NO MAN IN THE COULD BRING TERRIFYING SCREAMING TO TV LIKE DR ZACHARY SMITH THANK YOU JONATHAN HARRIS 🙏 RIP
How Jonathan Harris never got a sore throat or laryngitis from all this screaming and carrying on. GOODNESS! LOL
That Was AWESOME!!!!
Looking back now, it's pretty obvious that Dr. Smith/Jonathan Harris was a raging Queen.
Dr Smith never gets old
Dr. Smith is certainly in the Top 10 of Scream Queens; he's legendary. He does have some serious competition in Lady Felicia of Father Brown. But my favorite memory of Dr. Smith is his "Oh, the pain, the pain!" I quote him often.
Best man screams ever.
his screams cracked me up when i watched the reruns when i was little on the scifi channel he looks like the late Robin Williams
He was so great !
legendary scream
'Will!! Help me!!! I'm dead!!!" - He actually screams that off-screen in an episode where the space pod crash lands.
I think I remember that. They should have wrote Will in the script saying, "How can I help you if you are dead?"
His dramatics prevented me from watching the show, but now I love it.
The Spaghetti Monster at 1:31 into the video was always my favorite. He caused Dr. Smith to pass out and he never even touched Smith. I called him the Spaghetti Monster because he looked like my mother dumped a huge bowl of Spaghetti and Tomato sauce on him.
I typed in meditation/ relaxation music and this was the first choice
Absolutely brilliantly hammy, camp, and downright hysterical . Great memories of childhood watching Lost in Space, and laughing myself stupid at his antics 😂
They omitted the legendary "Lost in Uranus" episode. That was the loudest scream of them all.
I got tears in my eyes from laughing.
Oh how technical props have advanced in the years!!!!
“Lost In Space” is like “Gilligan’s Island” of another world.
I liked the part when he screamed.
What a ninny!
There has been no actor like J Harris!
Thank you Double Toasted.
Lost in Space had the scariest monsters. I love Col West always the macho man hitting giant spider claws with his arm....lol. as if!
Dr.Smith screaming and fainting, is so hilarious!!! Except, for the fact, that I, scream just like him!
"No! You're not my Uncle Thaddeus!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Long before computer graphics, were some kickass monsters!
excellent edits,,all credit to you...its amazing that in all interviews, nobody asked him about those screams....and how appropriate to finish with guy williams,,,he was a good baddy character,,,,and amazing again nobody did an interview with williams in all that time...

This used to come on after school back in the '70s and my brother and I watched the fxck out of it
El Dr. Smith era quien le daba vida a esa serie por su cobardia y sus gritos, tremendo actor
2:48 I have found the ultimate scream
Dr. Smith was such a scream queen! LOL
DR SMITH: The Original Girly-man.
MrNckissfan not even Liberace or little Richard were this bad
He was married for over 60 years.
You mean snowflake? Uhhhh.... Uhhhh i mean californian? Uhhh uhh SJW ? FUCKET THEY ARE ARE ALL THE SAME! 😂😂😂😂😂
One of televisions first light in the loafers main characters. I thought he was different when I was five.
Classic! Thank you!
"Shall we rehearse, or shall we..WOaahhh..!!!"
my fav tv actor!!!!!
The thing I always noticed was that Dr. Smith seemed to be screaming out of disgust. That's what made it funny, I think.
2:35 LOL......Al Lewis standing there grinning holding a baseball, friggin priceless!!! WHAAAAAAAAAOOOOHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
amazing..congratulations...
Let me tell you something that guy was the most incredible comedian I ever seen that he's better dude he's like General milley is now
Interesting how he's so enamoured with the Golden Man, but totally petrified by the pretty Green Lady blowing kisses at him.
When I was a kid, that confused the Hell out of me. Now I get it.
Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!
I love how the monsters were all human shaped or just there to mess with people and clearly not hungry.
Man, some of these effects are actually pretty creepy

And captain Kangaroo too!
And so were Batman and Robin. LOL
But he had a "wife" in real life...
@@Genkimark - but he played that gay role as Dr Smith too well - LOL.
@@Bobby-fj8mk IKR?? Kind of like Paul Lynde as Uncle Arthur...was he even acting, haha??
That Jonathan Harris was off the chain he was the master of scary and screaming he could out scream James Brown he gets so nervous he dropped the laser pistol at run
Freakazoid brought me here! Lmao XD omg, he DOES scream and talk like that like that. 😂
Wish there was more billy west material
The monsters in this movie are so cheesy that it makes them funny XD I miss this show
HBD Mr. Harris...
THE BEST
Whoahaauagh oh the pain the pain
You forgot his first scream when he was strapped to the chair and the Jupiter 2 took off for the first time.
Dr Smith quite a character a real coward liked his scream very funny
When I was a kid I didn’t know his name was Dr. Smith. I simply referred to him as Professor Coward.
I wouldn't have trusted Smith around my 11 year old son if I was Dr Robinson...
Too be fair. Some creatures are utterly terrifying 😳
