Nice shots! I love how the IR Chrome footage near the end looks, really beautiful stuff. It might be cool if you guys incorporated IR video more into these; like, if you end up doing more filter demonstrations, maybe filming most of it with the same filter that's being demoed.
Both the video and photos were shot using a full-spectrum Canon R5. The majority of the video was filmed using our hot mirror filter which gives you a normal image + our Kolari Pro 2-5 stop VND drop-in filter. When we wanted to capture video with IR chrome we simply removed the hot mirror and added IR chrome.
This is not a true aerochrome filter. There are much cheaper ways of getting this effect. True aerochrome has a certain effect on skin tones which this filter has not. It is totally overpriced. You can get the same filter by stacking two cheap filters together. As with most of what Kolari does, it is overpriced.

Awsome video, I just posted a vid using my EPL8 converted to full spectrum, and the Kolari filter. Was a fun experience!
I wonder what the results would look like using a film camera, with regular negative color film, like Kodak Gold or Porta. Has anyone tried that?
You would just get a blue image. To capture this look in film, you need true Aerochrome film, which has IR sensitivity
How does the IR CHROME work with a Sigma SD14 with the IR Blocking filter removed ?
We have not tried that specific combination however IR Chrome is designed to work with different camera platforms.

Unfortunately you need a full spectrum camera to replicate the results, on a regular camera the pictures just come out blue tinted.
