I'm used to sportscars. So yes a massive truck has a vague steering feel compared to what I drive. For a big truck it's fine, but it still has lots of play in the wheel. And like big trucks, you have to push the breaks pretty hard to slow down. Again, normal cars and sportscars have much more touchy break pedals. So since this video is filmed from my perspective, this truck needs more input in the steering and breaking compared to normal cars. It's a fine HD for sure but drive like a truck.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed yes, we all have opinions. And yes, compared to my M4 Comp the Ram 2500 performs quite a bit differently. But the comparison doesn’t make the truck’s steering vague or the brakes squishy; it just makes it a truck that isn’t a sports car. We are in violent agreement.
My preemissions 2005 2500 Cummins Laramie Sport Crew Cab is worth a third of that price. It's such a great truck that I cannot justify spending that much money on a new truck.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed 100% everyone gets their own choice for what they need...I'm not arguing that it's just when I was growing up in the 70's, short box trucks were few & far between while the 8' box ruled the roost regardless which one of the top 3 auto manufacturers sold you the truck. The norm was also a regular cab but the odd crew cab did show up but nothing like it is today
These trucks are NOT hard to steer, nor is the steering sloppy. The brakes are fine. The ride is actually excellent for an HD vehicle.
