Added the TST band sensors to our 450 and 5th wheel. Also did the cap sensors on the spare tires on both rigs. The new big touch screen is nice to. Purchased it all through technorv.
I put extensions on rear inner and outer braket mounted under lug nut now both tires can check air pressure very easy using flow thru on all tires 6 on truck 6 on rv tst color display is awesome I also got mine from techno rv Took almost 9 months for my f450 KR but I love it
I thougth about doing that, but I wanted to have temperature readings as well. I feel that if you move the valve stem to the inside of the outter tire, you lose the ability to have proper temp readings.
Great video boss.. just bought a F450 and this looks like a life saver. Question - how do sensors draw power? Internal battery etc? And how long it lasts?
I did this video almost 2 years ago. I just got a new TST 707 display and one of the new features allows users to see battery voltage on each sensor. So, after almost 2 years, mine are all still showing 3v. I was shocked to see this and VERY VERY happy. I am guessing I might have another 2 years of power from the sensors battery..???
@@tannerjim thank you sir for the detailed response. Will look into this solution. I was also considering the flow through or external sensor solution from Tiremind.

Great video!! This is exactly the type of system I’ve been searching for! Thank you for sharing

Great video. I have the tst and a Ford dually and the internal sensors are the sound like the perfect solution.
I have to find the good tire shop to install this once I receive my 2024 F450. Do you have same TST system?
@@wj2791 sure do.
@@Chrisa197088 Do you have to reset the location of TPMS after the tire rotation?
@@wj2791 no just swap the caps/sensors
How has this been working? Any drop outs in reading from the sensors?
how often .. and .. how do you change the batteries in the internal sensors ?
Don't know the official answer but I have has these installed for 2 years and they are still working great.
Wow. I just bought a Rockwood and it has the 700 system installed. So .. good to know. THANKS for the video !
How does it work when you rotate the tires?
You just resync/pair the senors to correct location. guessing it would take me about 5 mins to do all 6 tires
Does there new version 707 support the internal ones?
I was told they would work with the 707, but I have not purchased the 707 yet, so I don't have real world knowledge.
Dec 2022 Update -- YES!!! I just got the 707 2 weeks ago (Black Friday Sale) and the internal sensors work!!! 😀
I also added wheel balancers on truck and rv
