We need more people like Alex for young people to look up to. He shows you can be rad as fuck and not have to party in order to be cool. I'm 6 years clean now and got clean at 23, but one of the contributing factors in my beginning drug and alcohol use was that all the music artists I looked up to were drug addicts and/or party animals. Much respect ❤
I'm a recovering addict as well from 12-30 I have 2 years clean and I can now honestly say life is good enough without them proud of you Alex and everyone else that knows and has overcome the struggle ❤
@@bobjones3069Dude literally gave good advice on why to stay away from drugs, spoken from experience, and you take that as an opportunity to be a dick? Way to go I guess, you sure showed that honest upstanding human being what for.
Alex the Terrible great Vocalist and great inspiration saw him an Slaughter to Prevail live stopped the song and helped a girl that feel down an was I believe passed out or overheated got her help for her. Thanks for the great music.
Quitting alcohol alone is no joke. I’ve never done anything other than smoke weed and drink, kicking weed was easy as can be but alcohol is another story. When I stopped smoking weed I didn’t really have any negative effects other than the “man, I’d like a joint right now” feeling but quitting alcohol gave me seizures. The doctors told me if I quit cold turkey then I was for sure going to die from it. I was 23 years old when they told me that.
I was an addict for a long time. Some use the phrase addict in recovery. Im sober now and i can genuinely say life is so much better overall when youre sober, of course everybody is different. Mad respect to Alex🤘
For anyone on here who has already recovered from drugs/alcohol good job! For anyone wanting to/trying to quit dont give up! You CAN do it! No matter how hard it might be take it one day at a time!
Respect an artist who not only wants to be around performing for a long time healthy, very honorable. He cares and thinks about his adoring fans, wants everyone who comes to see him live, and see him at his best every time.
❤❤ heck yea brother.. keep it up and I always listen and still listening to your music and hopefully I'll come see you on your one these days and stay safe and strong
See this is why I love him. I've been listening to him for years and he's been the biggest inspiration I've had to finally learn metal vocals, he's given me a basis for that sound i want, he's shown me its possible. Just in being an awesome dude, he's inspired me ans no doubt thousands of others to improve their lives! Love from your family from over the pole ❤🤘🇺🇲
Don't know enough of this gentleman seen live once followed him sense. This reminds me of GSP. The way he speaks the weight behind the word's. Smart man. Health wealth prosperity for you and all loved one's
Damn I love this guy. Not even just because of this video. Alex has always been a badass and a sweetheart. Also it's crazy to see how well his English has improved since I first started listening to them years ago. Alex if you read this it brings me joy to see the amount of passion you have for what you do. Love you man, keep up the great work.
I've been slowly giving up all my old bad habits. While I was in the Army, it was common for us to drink, smoke, and whatever. Then you would be on a 5 mile run next morning. The absolute damage that does to your overall health is crazy. Now, I don't even have caffeine in my diet, and I feel better at 46, on average , than I did at 26.
I’m on the process to be a “Straight Edge”, I can’t confirm and consider myself that I am already. But I am working hard to be one of it. And seeing this video of yours motivate my descipline. As a man that play punks and hardcore music and also love metal, It inspires me when I saw people that are moving in the underground scene that are keeping a healthy lifestyle mentally and physically.
Being able to be happy and active and enthusiastic AND perform night after night without using drugs or even alcohol is enviable and awesome. Truly if I didn't drink on a night out, it would feel like a rubbish night out....which is a miserable thing to know.
I feel like many of us reach that point. We drink and do drugs till it gets bad... then we clean up. Then, eventually, we realize we don't really "need" to drink or be high to have a good time. It was more of a burden, and it's liberating to enjoy life without the need for an artificial sense of happiness 😊.
Much respect to Alex for giving up on the drugs. It ain't easy to do.
Exactly. He's already earned my respect but that just confirmed it for sure.
Gave up on the drugs but takes anabolic steroids 😂😂😂😂 Dudes a total clown and his “metal” band absolutely sucks!!

There‘s a lot of peer pressure regarding drugs and alcohol when you‘re in the music-scene, so props to him for staying strong
I've been into metal for about 4 years now and I have to say it's one of the few things I can truthfully say I hate about the genre
@@Yee626 There plenty of Straight edge in Hardcore too but yeah a few idiots can ruin a show.
No joke, I can't imagine anyone peer pressuring Alex Terrible into doing something.
There is no such thing as peer pressure. Be a man
@@bobjones3069 are you kidding me. you’re probably being peer pressured by “alpha males” to have that attitude 😂
This is why kids should listen to deathcore instead of Taylor Swift. Alex is a great influence.
