Finally, someone who just comes out and says "Yeah I had no vision or really any direction with half of these....just did it because I felt like it" about their tattoos. If I had a nickel for every time I've heard some drawn out, pretentious, inherently fake explanation for some shitty tattoo, I could open my own shop and call it "Some and More".

I am glad you talked about the Black Sun tattoo you used to have. Many people will still try to rip into you about that and I always point them to this video because you clarify that you know how wrong it was to have and how you aren't that type of person no matter if you used to identify with those people or not. It's always good to own up to past mistakes and grow from it.
Having a Black Sun tattoo isn't wrong, commies and socialists are accepted all over the world so how is nazism considered wrong.

But can we take a minute to recognize how clear is Alex about who he es? He knows exactly what he wants and where he is, he doesn't believe more than anybody or lesser than anybody, it's great to have that level of emotional stability.

I think Deathcore (and metal in general) needed a front man like this since many time ago.
(Of course there are many great persons in metal and great front men in pretty big bands, but I'm talking about this moment of the Metal industry, and how big the band has become )

I remember watching this guy’s vocal covers so many years ago. Knew he was talented then! So glad to see him in a great band and being successful! Also very cool to see talented bands out of his area being recognized! Very cool!
I remember when I was 14 I had to use a fake ID to get my first tattoo, it was a scorpion on my hand. My second was the ace of spades that looks burnt, folded, and has a bullet hole in it. My parents flipped out. I didn't get another until I was 18. But it all came full circle, right before my dad died he went and got the same tattoos (his first ones at 60 years old). So it kind of puts new meaning to my first two tattoos

I am honoured you’d share your tattoos with us Alex. I have 11 tattoos myself, I enjoy getting them. I thankfully have quite a high pain tolerance. I plan to get more in the future. I was like 24 or 25 when I got my first tattoo lol. Keep on being awesome man! Love yah! 🤘😈🤘

I don't have any tattoos personally... I've thought about it many times, but I live with a lot of pain all the time, and while in some ways that means I have a high pain tolerance, sometimes adding just a little bit of a new kind of pain can be totally overwhelming. So part of why I don't have them is probably fear for the pain.
Also, things like you said, about knowing I'd have different thoughts and ideals later in life. Now, I could go back and tell younger me what ideas would be fine, and consistent, for sure. But at the same time, now, I have nothing to show off, really, and nobody who'd want to see.
That's insane man. I have recently became a fan of Slaughter To Prevail. I too have been Vegan for about 2 years now. But I have some ink and started when I was 18. It's not as much as you. But I want to get more ink on me. Most of it is band/music tattoos. I will more than likely get the "devil mask" as a tribute to STP. To have art on your body is truly amazing. Because not only you're a walking canvas but you have that on you forever. Regardless of the meaning. Some have dark stories and meanings but ultimately, it's your body. Once this utter world wide nonsense ends and STP tours (hopefully) the states, I'll be sure to hit the show that comes close to me. Look forward to that and eventually get that devil mask inked on me. For along with the philosophical reasons (to me) about the devil, it is a sign of respect to STP as the band. I'm 21 and have 4 tats and they all mean something to me but hearing Alex talk about how he just wanted his ink cause it looks sick is awesome and has inspired me to be a little more lose with me ideas but still keep it reasonable and make sure everything I get is mine and is shaped to me and my life. WILD! Oli and Mitch are the 2 vocalists that got me into doing heavier vocals, Mike from The Devil Wears Prada got me into wanting to do vocals as a young teen because they were good and heavy back in the day and were based only like 2 hours from where i live.

@@NicolasDrummer black is almost impossible to cover. Usually bad cover up tattoos are black heavy since it covers anything. White won't stick out on the black, mostly because a lot of white needs to be used to be seen on fresh skin to begin with. Honestly, white is the only color I have that has faded

My first tattoo is a Dead by April tat. I have Dead By April surrounding a rose. I regretted it for a few years, but now i've come to learn it's just part of who i was. I don't have any extreme tattoos, but for me, that was extreme. I grew out of the band, and wasnt really listening to them for a bit, but i started listening to them again recently and realized why i loved them so much. So, it was definitely regrettable for like 4 years, but i've come to terms with it now.
I'm so happy he did this, I saw that Black Sun before and had concerns, but honestly just saying why he had it and most importantly taking action to deal with it is way more reassuring than someone making excuses.
I got my first tattoo when I was 19 after I dropped out of college for personal reasons. Looking back at it with what I know now it is a SHITTY tattoo, but I didn’t care, I just loved the feeling of getting a tattoo. I had always been an artist, and that’s what made me decide that becoming a tattooist was what I wanted out of my life.
I have a lot of tattoos because I have always practiced on myself; some of them aren’t great, because I was new, but I’m glad about that. I see it as an opportunity to practice doing cover ups.
I met my husband because of my tattoos, we were working at a grocery store and he approached me about designing one for him. I owe everything good in my life today to tattooing.
My husband and I love your band, and our toddler rocks out to Demolisher with us in the car; his cute little face lights up at the breakdown lol 😂 He’s such a cool kid

С 11 лет фанател от Митча с Оливером, потом еще и от тебя, долгое время я хотел набить себе первую тату, но никак не мог сделать это,так как в последний момент понимал, что делаю хуету, но в том году это все же свершилось, теперь у меня полурукав, я рад до усрачки и ни о чем не жалею в этом плане. Ведь сколько бы я еще ходил, думая о тату и том, почему же я ее тогда не набил :D

Because it's so important to me I'm holding on to all my ideas for years to have the test of time before it's on my skin permanently.

The fact that there’s a 30+ minute video about his tattoos is nuts.
My first tattoo was the straight edge XXX on my ankle, I was 13, had way too much to drink and my friends dared me to do a tattoo so we made ink from pencil graphite and vodka and used the spring from a pen as a needle. 7 years later and it's still hasn't faded.

Классный, видос, душевный человек)
Сам начинал с предплечья, набил череп, без нижней челюсти, который обволакивает дым, а сверху на изгибе кровавый глаз ( думаю когда-нибудь массонский треугольник туда запилить :D ).
Пока забит рукав до плеча, на второй предплечье с двух сторон, преимущественно работы выполнены в черно-бело-серых тонах. Обычно искал арты какие-нибудь понравившиеся и мастер их переносил ( по качеству не к чему придраться ).
Тоже считаю что лучше все взвесить, оценить работы разных компетентных мастеров и уже идти на сеанс, чтобы не запороть первое впечатление .
Благо у меня не было лаве в 15-17 лет, т.к. за довольно большой промежуток времени интересы и вообще мировоззрение очень разнятся с тех времен)
