I always thought it was weird how older people still can't stand seeing an exposed breast in a movie as if they didn't give birth to 10 children, see the world go through 7 major wars, and watch true-crime murder documentaries every night before falling asleep for the past 30 years.
Because we’ve been desensitized to violence. Movies get R ratings for language and a little nudity. But get PG13 for violence. Look at all the TV shows we have every night that are based in violence. It’s screwed up. The movie The King’s Speech got an R rating because of the use of the F word. So ridiculous.
Desperately grasping at a limited version of morality because they blame lack of morality for the descent of this world into the horrors that are actually just capitalism at work.

@ I always find it hilarious watching Starship Troopers on cable. They censor the nudity and Dennis Richard’s throwing up from the biology class, but leave in every scene of gore without filter, as if that’s totally normal to see but a woman’s chest would be otherwise traumatizing.
For those who don't remember.. She played Velma in the live action scooby doo movie which, when I saw it, for me, was a big part transitioning from a child to adult 😂
