Isn't shining the UV towards the camera dangerous?
Dewi...No. The UV rays aren't transmitted via the camera or the digital signal. Shining in my eyes is another thing. :)

I couldn't quite understand the kind of quill you used for the body.
John, it is the quill from a Furnace hackle neck feather. Grab one of of the large webby hackles from the back of the neck, and strip the fibers clean. Tie in tip of the quill.

When is good time for the slate Drake in central pa?
Soak it for a while before you tie or it will split. Good tying
