Nice fly Tim, I will tie some for my box. Thanks for sharing. All the best, Sean

I also use Ice Fur by Petitjean; I believe that is the tailing used in this video. The colors I like in that material are camel and brown.

Sorry; I use antron, zelon, and "Fibers." The latter are from Enrico Puglisi; you can google him to find his site. I recommend a light tan to dark tan color, depending on what you are trying to match. Hope this helps!

Tim, would you us floatant on this sparkle dun and if so, just the deer hair section or whole fly? Great video and I'll be tying some tomorrow. W

Hi Bob, and that really depends how I was fishing it. In short, if the fish were keying on emergers or sunken spinners, then floatant on just the deer hair. Otherwise, I would encourage the entire pattern to sit high if the fish were looking for an adult. Here are some recommended floatants:
High N Dry Liquid Floatant: amzn.to/32CwWZZ
On the water, I turn to powders (amzn.to/3F5y7ON) and Payette Paste: amzn.to/3Hsyog7
Thanks for checking and good luck with it! Tim

If you don't have that certain tail in any other type of dubbing

Hi Big Ron, and I am unsure what you're asking. Can you explain what you mean? Thanks! Tim www.troutandfeather.com
