I looooove your channel. I found you just recently for the first time. This past weekend, I shared a bunch of your videos with family members and lots of our family were watching and enjoying your adventures together. My life dream is to go on a family cruise someday. I doubt it'll ever happen, but it's so great getting to see yours so we can see what it's like 😊💗
I actually just got finished asking this question about Sorrento's on t a tiktok clip. There's something about the cruise pizza that makes it so good. Thank you so much for your video.
Hi your videos are amazing ! Your son has grown up so much these past few years !😳🙏🏼😇🥰! You guys enjoy your cruise ! So much goodness at the pizza place ! 💕🙏🏼
As I’ve stated in some of your other videos, I’m a pizza snob (born in Sweet Home Chicago), so I usually stay away from cruise pizza. Serento’s pizza, as pictured, appears (at best) well-intentioned and workmanlike. I think I’d avoid most of the antipasto choices also. I loved the music bed you selected. Perfect accompaniment for the visual. I have been a long time fan of yours. I can only laugh as each time I see your son next to Joanna, one of them is getting taller, or one is shrinking. Clearly, he’s a natural for your camera, too. Thank you for another excellent video. Though I like the vibe you presented, I think that ship might be slightly too populous for my tastes.
Our pleasure- thank you so much Brad for the comment! 😊 Yes the Oasis-class ships can be very crowded when they have a popular event at the promenade. But since the ship is so huge, usually people are more spread out.
There are a lot of great sites and travel agencies out there. We've booked with Expedia before too. One of the ones we use the most is Crucon because they gave repeat guests extra OBC. Though they can take a couple hours or more in getting back to you when booking.
I’ll agree with everyone that Sorento’s pizza looks very ho-hum, lifeless, and maybe pass-up worthy 😬. But can I implore everyone to please try it just once? I’m a bit of a pizza snob myself, and I was very surprised how good Sorento’s was.
I eat pizza but I dislike pepperoni. I could have eaten the fried mushrooms but it’s not really healthy. The cheese pizza with red pepper flakes would be good.
I thought that the pizza at Sorrentos was better than the "fresh made" on HAL, NCL, and even Celebrity. Also, there was a pretty good variety available. I also like that there are free beverages - coffee, tea, lemonade, and punch - at all the free food locations on the ship.
We enjoyed eating there- they've improved the pizza since a couple years ago. Sorrento's is certainly a favorite of guests after watching the shows for the evening. Thanks for the comment! 🙂
I always thought Sorrento's was fine. Not great but still good. It's also worth noting that IMO Sorrento's style of pizza is perfect for a cruise. The thinner crust allows for a very quick bake. Looks to me like only about 5 minutes. Meaning they can get slammed but the long line does not seem to last very long. It also means it cools off pretty fast once they serve it. So less chance of burning your face off. It's better than gas station pizza and not as good as most local joints IMO.
Thanks for showing the food close-up. I'd be very disappointed if I was served premade pizza on a cruise ship. I distinctly remember from years ago one frozen pizza bought in a supermarket that had those dimple-like indentations under the crust and the pizza tasted like cardboard.
@@TravelTouristVideos I must say, it did look good! I'm a NYC born and raised guy who grew up in a neighborhood with a pizzeria every few blocks but, despite my origins, no "pizza snob" by any means. In fact, my favorite kind of pizza is Detroit-style. If the cruise had that style of pizza it would put it over the top!
The balloon drop was from the first night at 10 PM, but check the ship's schedule of activities once onboard because things can vary between sailings. You can always ask a crew member or the front desk to make sure as well.
The pizza doesn’t look very good. Like you said, crust is pre made and no meat lovers pizza to chose from. I usually skip pizza on any cruises because there is so much else to chose from! Thanks for the review and video!!
I agree, it looks lousy. But I highly recommend trying it at least once. I’m not from New York or Chicago, but I am something of a pizza snob in my own right. My opinion of Sorento’s is, looks can be deceiving. Several people on my very first Royal Caribbean cruise insisted I try the pizza before making a judgement call. I did, and I was very pleasantly surprised.

I’m not a big pizza lover but I love watching you guys.
Thank you so much Angela! 😊
We board the Allure in 13 days. First cruise ever and we are beyond excited.
Have an amazing first cruise- you picked a great ship!
That is some yummy looking food.
Some tasty pizzas and antipastos! 😋
Looked delicious. Thanks and take care.
Our pleasure- thanks Karen for watching & commenting! 😊

Our pleasure- thanks for the comment! 😊 They had some tasty pizza hot out of the oven 😋
Great video.
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂

Thank you so much Susan- we really appreciate it! 🥰
Finally! I’ve been very interested in knowing more about Sorrentos! As always, enjoyed seeing the options, descriptions and honest review!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you very much for the comment! 😊
Good to see the anti pasti still there. I walked Anthem in Feb 23 and they had removed all the anti pasti.
Your son, photobombing! 😅he’s so cute!
😊 thank you!

Definitely, it looks that way, but I definitely recommend trying it anyway 😊

Your Son seems to be a total Gentleman!
Thank you very much! 😊
Does anyone know a recipe for these olives?! I need them at home! They’re perfect!!!
What is the best site to book for cruises? I usually booked mine on Expedia but maybe you know of a better sites. Thanks

Like you we also enjoyed it. It's not the best at sea, but still pretty good, and those antipasto are a bonus. Thanks for the comment! 🙂
Ya talked me into it.
Your son is getting really tall 😊👍🇹🇹🇹🇹
He sure is- thank you! 😊

Yes! We usually like the pizzas with some red pepper flakes as well.
I liked supreme pizza.
Yeah that primavera pizza does remind a bit like a Supreme pizza from Pizza Hut

I wiss i got work this job in royal Caribbean
Is this specialty dining?
Nope it's complimentary- one of their most popular ones too.
Thanks for showing the food close-up.

The pizza crust seemed to be pre-made, but they do bake and make the pizza right there. Tasted very good actually.

@@TravelTouristVideos thanks!!
Anytime!
Is the kid in the orange shirt is that that ur son
Yup- he's been on every one of our cruises since he was 7 months old!
Had their pizza on the Oasis of the Seas. Pretty good, but Disney cruise's pizza was better
Thanks for sharing your experience! It's always good to hear different perspectives on food options on different cruises.
I remember when your son was a little boy..so grown up now. Good looking pizza..but I don't eat pizza cause cheese and I don't agree.
I bet he grew taller after each cruise with the buffet fueling up during his puberty stage 😂😂😂
Yes he's been eating Sorrento's pizza for many years now lol. Thanks for the comment! 😊

I have been on the Allure of the Seas twice and the pizza at Sorrento's was DELICIOUS!🍕
@@Psalmtwentyseven Nice! We enjoyed Sorrento's pizza too! 😋
Looking at the frequency of your cruises…one wonders if your child goes to school.
It looks very tasty, but, I do not like pizza. Thank you so much for sharing this video with us. Enjoy! Amen
Our pleasure! Thanks for watching & commenting Katrina! 😊
She is great at explaining /describing the food but the way she talks with her mouth full, gross
The way you tactlessly critique others is gross.
Why do you feel the need to comment. I know who you voted for.
Another cut back by Royal. No longer have anti pasta
Wow- really? Which ship was this?
On the Oasis of the Seas. Sorrento’s no longer had anti pasta station. Also only 2 types of pizza ( veggie pizza will be made upon request)
Yeah hopefully that's just temporary- that would be a really perplexing change for something that's not that expensive.
