    Absolutely perfect daily driver. I have a silver 2008 323i with 50k miles on it, still feels like a new car. The stereotype that used BMW's are money pits is only true if you buy the wrong one

    Such a fun little car. So simple yet satisfying. The straight six, the compact size, awesome steering, and simple design. Yeah, you have to watch out for the water pump and oil leaks on these cars, but the non-turbo E90s are otherwise pretty stout. I wish BMW would do a truly compact fun sedan like this again.

    this is my exact car! 06 325i 6mt. 76,000 miles currently. mine is black with the sport package so it’s a little bit sportier than this one. the sport steering wheel, seats and suspension make a difference. as well as having bigger wheels/tires. regardless, i’m so happy to finally see a higher profile channel featuring my car! for what it is, it’s plenty of car. definitely on the slower side by today’s standards but it’s not all about straight line speed. the car is set up incredibly well dynamically and it handles exceptionally well. you will struggle to find a car for as cheap as you can get one of these today that gives you more of an engaging driving experience. the steering is heavy and nicely weighted, and the car has so much grip around corners. and reliability wise, this car is great when you compare it to most modern bmws. the n52 is close to bulletproof, and with it being NA you don’t have to worry about turbos. not to mention the way the looks have held up over the years; the e90s still look amazing today when you find an example that has been taken care of. most people don’t know that my car is now 14 years old. thanks again for putting this out there!

    I quite like these E90 BMW’s and was just thinking how rare it is to see one on the road. I wonder if that’s due to maintenance costs and reliability problems, and people just choosing to dump them instead of keeping them running.

    • @hovnojede010101
      @hovnojede010101 4 роки тому +4

      It's the latter because unlike the E46, they do not rust, crack subframes, etc., and especially the RWD NA cars are quite reliable if you keep them regularly maintained, which most 2nd or 3rd owners do not... Typical BMW problems that are easily researched before buying and found during PPI do not get addressed and then the next owner has to dump a couple grand into the engine alone. There's tons of DIYs and good information on the forums and newTIS.info which has official BMW repair manuals. Drove an E90 for 8 years and I sometimes wish it wasn't gone; now 2 years in an F80 and I always turn my head when I see a clean E9x 3 Series on the road. Really good looking car especially the LCI model. It is the right size, has hydraulic steering and not too much electronics. A couple pretty affordable suspension mods go a long way on these.
