Kaweco makes replaceable nib units. Also, you can modify your nib to make it more wet. I would use an ink you love and want to keep in the TWSBI Vac simply because of how much ink it holds.
I love the TWSBI pens. I have seven of them inked up different colours and I have different size nibs on them. Used daily. I have tried lower end Pilot and Lamy and always get a dry ink sensation, scratchy. I clean them out and the problem occurs. For 2024 I have decided to be content with my inks and pens. Buying nothing this coming year. But can enjoy your journey.Sister in Canada.
I just saw this video. With your TWSBI VAC 700R, did you turn the knob on the back a little bit? If not, that could be why it was writing dry. Turning the knob a bit at the end opens the chamber a little bit. That allows ink to flow more easily to the nib. Right now, I have FWP Blushing Mushroom(a really dry ink) in my TWSBI VAC 700R with a fine nib. I am having no problems and the ink is a shimmer ink.
I have several Kawecos. My fave nib size is M on Kaweco. The F is a bit scratchy. I have the brass one. Be advised, it is heavier than the AL models. But it's a favorite of mine. Love the Iris TWSBI! That's one I have considered but never purchased. TWSBI Eco is an excellent pen! I enjoyed your video. You have remarkable self-control to only have 5 inked! 😂
Hi friend👋 loving the medium nib too! This might be the year of the brass for me. I’m still chicken with ink. After my explosive pilot prera moment I take a lot of caution 🤣
I will only buy Kaweco pens from At Louis Art Supply because they tune the nibs on the pens they sell, and I only use them with Kaweco cartridges. Love Kaweco s!
lovely collection. i bought a twsbi firefly eco, and love it, i have not tried ancient copper yet, i will soon i hope. have a blessed new year!
These videos are so fascinating, i love it

Time to go find some videos on swapping out my kaweco nib.

I finally got brave enough to use these outside of the house for meetings. Maybe I’ll go thru these existing ink samples faster this year, too!

That’s a good point. I’ll have to give it another try. All my other twsbi are great writers ✍️

Great tip! Will try to get this iridescent one tuned because I really love the color
You change the nibs of Kawecos. Maybe change the olive's medium nib into the unicorn
Thats a great idea 💡 UA-cam videos here I come!!!
