    Thanks for the awesome review! I've been looking at this bike at a local shop and now realizing they must have last years models as this new updated 2022 version seems MUCH better with some nice upgraded features! You've got me sold, now just hoping they will stock the new model other than having to order one and assemble.

    Great review, we have had ours for a couple of days and love them. You note that your stem does not go low enough, but in the video you show a picture with the three stem spacers still in place. Per Aventon's website these spacers can be removed to lower the stem. Thanks!

    Love it but still pausing as I commute on rough roads. Wish there was a suspension fork for this like the level has. Even if it was an option. Thanks for the review.

    Just assembled the 350 step through for my wife. Really impressed with the build quality for the price. Just need to get a bottle holder for the handlebar. Step through has no bosses. Looking forward to riding with her. Hoping she doesn’t leave me in the dust.

    Good to know it comes with all the tools necessary for assembly. I only know how to change flats so would you recommend self assembly? Rating 1-10 what is the difficulty rating?

    After searching endlessly for e bikes that are affordable..
    I can safely say that this will be the bike i’m getting the design of that bike is flawless for the price range.
    Thank you so much for showing off everything that bike can offer!
    Have you tried it going up any steeper inclines, did it perform decently?

      The bike shop by me sells the 2021 for $200 cheaper and gives a 90 day price guarantee. Maybe that will help u out if u bought it locally. Not sure about the online, direct price guarantee.

      @@shorelinerach01 O and just think in another 5-10 years the new model with be self-driving like a Tesla. Then a few years after that, u dont even have to be on the bike. It will just have a camera mounted on it that u can watch it bike around the city from your couch at home!

    Thanks for the review. I noticed you were riding some on hard packed ground and then went up onto some railroad bedrock. That is the type of riding I will be doing sometimes. I mostly ride paved greenways and streets but also ride old rails-to-trails trails with light gravel, light sand, hard packed dirt. Are the Pace 350 and/or 500 good for that type of riding as well as pavement? Thank you!

    I stuck around the moment you said " Lipstick on a pig" 🤣 I'm looking at the Level. Front shocks for touring/camping. Wife keeps saying I don't need shocks but I'm starting to develop carpal tunnel in right hand. Looked at Aventure. What a BEAST! Loved it but it's over kill. Can't even get it in 🏠😂. Great video. Thank you for taking us along.

    Does adding the rear rack block those integrated rear lights much? I'd assume adding panniers would definitely block them. Great review!

    Debating between this model and the Soltera. Does anyone know if the screen is easily removable for both models? Would prefer a removable option for safety. Thanks!

    You might have solved this problem already but if you think outside the box it's not a problem to turn the handlebar upside down to get a more aggressive riding position 👍

    • @srobeck77
      @srobeck77 2 роки тому +2

      The Pace 500 "next gen" has the advantage of integrated lights and upgraded color lcd screen (The Level "next gen", whenever than comes out, will do the same upgrade). The Pace models are a more casual, upright, cruiser style handle bars/wide seat for comfort, not performance.
      The Level has included fenders, rear rack, more aggressive handle bars/seat, and front suspension (which means it tries to dip its toes into slightly being an off road bike).

      I was torn between the Level and Pace 500, but we’re gonna get the Pace 500 Next Gen primarily for the more comfortable riding position. Only thing that I feel we will be missing out on is suspension forks. Not sure if they’re changeable or not, but I would not want to ruin the look of the bike by changing them. Gonna look into suspension seat stems.

    • @srobeck77
      @srobeck77 2 роки тому +1

      @@amigajoe suspension forks are a useless wear item when on pavement. but even then, i still dont care about a bit of vibration on my arms, my butt and lower back is where i want protection and front forks do nothing for that.
      The far better option for pavement riding is to get an expensive suspension seat post.

    "When you're at Level 1 you get 100 watts". How do you determine that? Does the new display show the actual watts output? The prior Aventon display does not show any watts output. The prior Aventon controller only had "speed-based" PAS levels that were hard coded (example: Level 1=12mph, Level 2=13mph, etc.). Has that changed now with the new generation? OR does it still just have the basic speed-based design.

    You don’t mention the battery being removable, so I assume it’s not. I’m gonna check out their website. I will say this bike looks like a great choice for the money, but the lack of removable battery is a big bummer. Also wish they offered suspension forks as an upgrade. If it had those two changes it would be essentially perfect for what I’m looking for, even if I had to pay a few hundred extra.
