@@duragdan2000 I've watched quite a few of the videos that Brent has put out, and I can't stand watching any more. The one in which Brent documented how all their vehicles and equipment were just left out in the weather during a hellacious snowstorm, many of the buildings weren't checked for doors being closed, how his water pipes froze because he couldn't be bothered to insulate them OR wrap them with heat tape, and a bunch of other stupidities was just about the last one I could stomach. I left a very detailed comment on that video about all of his failures and the extremely basic measures that should have been taken to prevent them, and in the next video he posted, he spoke about how they had changed a lot of their practices at Cerro Gordo without specifically mentioning negative feedback, but my comment was one of many criticizing his bad decisions. I'd bet good money that some of his investors watch all of those videos, read the comments, and gave Brent some marching orders. After all, it's their money at risk too.

Don't forget piezoluminescence - light given off when a material is deformed. Milky quartz (often sold in garden stores as Arkansas river rock) will light up when struck or broken. Take a bag of the rock from the store and drop it from the deck and watch it light up - beef improves the effect.

Dang! The trifecta; Dan, Jason and Brent together! And don’t forget Evan!!
Don't forget piezoluminescence - light given off when a material is deformed. Milky quartz (often sold in garden stores as Arkansas river rock) will light up when struck or broken. Take a bag of the rock from the store and drop it from the deck and watch it light up - beef improves the effect.
Beef ? How so ?
AMAZING episode Dan!! Love Cerro Gordo and all Brent has done for it!

Hey...hey... I do believe I suggested hemimorphite. It's always difficult to identify minerals when not seen in person, but I do have a couple of specimens of it from different locals. Great finds!
