Add actually valuable content to the game for their price (more traditional DLC like new levels) there's really nothing wrong with micro-transactions. Games are more expensive than ever before to build and people expect the games to come out faster, more polished, and still cost $60 or less which is the equivalent to around $108 in today's money (year 2000 to year 2024). Considering this game is free to play and apparently isn't pay to win I'd say micro-transactions for those willing to buy them is a small price to pay. I will admit that having them in early access is a bit questionable (mostly out of concern that they'll be changed or removed before the final version is released) but not so much that it's worth condemning them over (you don't have to buy them and everyone playing should know that it's early access). There's far better things to be mad about like the quick erosion of our basic human rights or even (1st world problem) web search results pushing crappy products using formerly trusted (or at least trusted by many) names (there's a house fresh article that goes into great detail about it though you'll probably find results from other brands talking about the article before you find the article itself because that's how broken Google search has become).
I love the unused content in the playtime games. They leave so much behind that's really fun to speculate on. You should totally do a video on Choo Choo Charles. That game looks like it probably has some fun leftovers in it.
A lot of creators have some of these, like the shy hand gesture, the black widow skin, pumpkin head, etc. I wonder when they will be available for other people. Technically those items aren’t unused as like I said, the creators can use them like Fusion & Dawko.
I really love these episodes where you look into ongoing games. And especially hyped for the next episode, if it may be the biggest insight of game dev we ever had on the series. owo

If Project Playtime gets a NERF sponsership I see Guns returning but as NERF guns. Would probably slow down or even stop monsters for a few seconds who knows. Maybe the devs is afraid that it'll change the dynamic of the game so it may not return. We'll see
@@A_FantaEnthusiast It defeats the point of the game. Your meant to feel suspense--NOT wanting to get caught by the monster. Survivors are supposed to feel helpless. If the survivors could just blast the monsters with rifles, then... the entire point of the game is just gone.
It would be funny if the gun mechanic would be bringed back but those Guns gonna be the sleep Guns (the Guns that shoots a syringe that makes the enemy sleep for 20 sec
I've just gotten back in to the Assassin's Creed series. Any chance you have an interest in digging through those? It seems like no one digs in to those games to find cut/hidden content. Even TCRF doesn't have much and they can't be that clean, right? Not sure if those games are an interest for you though. Loving the channel as-is.
