Hey guys, just to clarify - this is the Dinghy Blunt UV Sun, which is the same length & wheelbase, but 0.6inches wider than the regular one. The wheels are also smaller on this one versus the regular version. Sorry for the confusion - overall, they're similar boards. But just make sure to check the specs before buying to ensure you're getting the right one.
Would you recommend the Tugboat for a college student? (Love the videos by the way, I couldn't find someone that does solid skateboard reviews until i stumbled across your channel)
@@lapreciouswhittaker213 Although the tug boat is bigger, it just depends whether or not the extra space is worth carrying around school. Are you planning to attach it to your backpack? These points all factor in. I am looking to buy a dinghy for college and I am 6 foot one so it's still quite small. I'm in the same situation. 😀
I just got my own Blunt, I wasn't even aware that this review was about the Blunt after watching when I picked my board out, so I thought I was getting a bigger version of the shown board, until I realized the dimensions matched and came back to rewatch lol As a beginner with chronic illness and lots of joint pains and aches, I shocked myself that I LOVED how the Blunt felt after practicing just balancing on it indoors, getting a feel for what muscles I'll need to work on for balancing, moving, and carving back and forth. I've been addicted to rowing machines because if you close your eyes and get into the rhythm you can actually feel like your gliding and pulling through the water on each stroke, so I've been super hyped to try surfing, surfskates, or just carving. I was worried too I was getting a too small of a board since its shorter than my old skateboard, but it turns out the extra 1.1" of width, quality hardware, and just enough amount of concave felt like a 10,000% improvement. I'm just an average 5'7" but weirdly enough I felt more confident learning my footing on the 3" shorter wheelbase Blunt because of the deck features, I could find center with my foot way faster and without as much looking as the flat skate deck and I didn't know how much I would appreciate that. Oh, and I never learned how to skate on my skateboard because when I was a little kid, the shop let me pick parts that didn't work together when I wanted to build one lol As in, if you try to turn and I mean AT ALL, it doesn't turn, it goes on two wheels! I'll update if I'm able to recover and start actually get moving outside, cheers and thanks for your top notch reviews that helped me pick my first cruiser
Glad for this guy and what he's doing. He might have bought that board with his own money, but looking at the racks of primo clean longboards he has behind him, his money probably is different to him than my money is to me. i don’t care what anyone says, i love my dinghy soooo much!! i’ve had it for a little over a year and i just cruise on it yk. but it literally feels like butter when you’re carving. also, the durability is insane. when i was at in n out with some friends, one of them jumped on it and tried to kick flip it, but slipped out and sent it into the drive through. a car ran it over and it barely budged haha. it was crazy. overall i love love love the designs and everything abt the dinghy
I love my dinghy just for the fun factor. It doesn’t do a lot of things “well” per se but it’s loads of fun. It makes smaller hills feel much more exciting. It’s also the reason for my increased road rash.
I've had a dinghy for a while now, and there were a few things I decided to change out, I got some 63 mm fatty hawgs as a small upgrade from the 60 mm wheels that came stock, as the roads in my area are rather rough. I also changed out the rear riser pad for one roughly an eight of an inch shorter, as I have a custom built skid plate made of metal I decided to use on my dinghy. Lastly, I did a very aggressive cleaning on the bearings, and re lubricated them with some bones grease. Spoiler alert, I use this board for downhill racing, and I've never quite felt anything like it. It's incredibly nimble, while still having the stability of a much larger board. The slightly larger wheels increased my top speed from about 45 mph to about 50 near as my GPS tracker can tell, and so far I've used it to place 3rd in a local event with an 8 mile long track. This thing is amazing, if you want a deck that can do a little bit of everything, then this is about the best you can find for cheap. Some slight modification can be made to tailor to your needs but out of the box this board replaced the full functionality of a high end downhill deck and my everyday street slasher. Only thing I would ever really reccomend you change is the wheels, the 63mm i use for the daily grind and the 70mm race wheels i have are both wheel bite free, though i did have to tighten my bushings a smidge with the 70mm. 10/10 I have 2 more decks on the way for a backup and a testbed.
Duddeee hold up, did you say you use it for downhill? Didn't know that was possible, wow. Some really solid advice here, thanks for taking the time to write this. I always wondered if I changed the wheels to something bigger if I'd get wheelbite... especially with 70mm
@@concrete-waves Considering i'm a lighter rider the wheel bite with 70mm wheels will most likely be based more on tuning, i'm sure that a heavier rider would get some wheelbite, however I don't have a great way to test that. As for the downhill racing side of things this board is great at everything except slides (shorter wheelbase means less leverage), however I was able to compensate for that by tightening my wheels a little for a slightly lower top speed. I didn't want to chance any turns in the tournament. The last thing that I know some people might have some questions about is that custom skid plate, I had a local machinist plasma cut me a sheet of 1/8th inch steel, and I formed it a bit more with a roofing torch. I had these plates made as like a last ditch E-Brake for my downhill escapades, just lean back and stop while not destroying the deck. They fit in just like a riser pad, so its super easy to swap out. The only other mod I made to mine was a front foot stop, just to keep me from sliding off.
i absolutely love my dinghy and agreed with everything you said! also, this video quality is insane and im SO happy you came up on my recommended page :) cant wait to binge all of your videos lol also!! once you get the time/resources id looove to see you test out a freebord, i feel like that would be a super neat video if youre in any way interested in it :)))
I started on a Landyachtz Dugout, but right after that one I got the turbo king. Absolutely love them, I just started skating at 30yrs, about a month ago lol
@@jonathanalfaro1466 If you’ve never skated before, it might be a little scary at first honestly. In my case, I had already gotten comfortable on my Dugout by Landyachtz so when I switched over it was a little more natural. But if you get it, just try getting used to it, shouldn’t take long as it’s super comfortable and fun to ride. It’s very turny, very maneuverable.
man youre gonna be big soon i can see it. the shooting angles, quality, taking everything apart to show the quality of parts! I hit the sub button faster than a downhill longboarder
1 minute into this video and I fuck heavily with this dude's authenticity. My "generation" went from watching OG YTers who just straight up posted shit to seeing the advent of the whole "Don't forget to like, comment and subscribe" habit / pattern. This difference is fresh and definitely welcomed
I was watching at your contents when I notice you don't have millions of subscribers (yet). The quality of your videos is great and you know what you are talking about. Thank you a lot!
I am a complete noob, first time rider and bought this board as my first board. Of course I am far from being able to appreciate the quality of this board since I am barely able to ride it properly but each time I go out to learn is a celebration. I would agree that a beginner like me would most likely benefit from a stiffer board since it is really soft and reacts quickly. But hey maybe learning the moves on a more difficult board raises the bar a bit. :) I am thinking about maybe adjusting the trucks a bit to tighten the screw and see if it makes it less wiggly at least in these first weeks/months as I am learning. Very nice review! Also I am 34y old and never skated before it had always been a dream of mine to try it and now it's happening. I wish I cold have started earlier cause people cringe a bit seeing an older dude scared of turning left and right.
@@mattfarrar5472 These boards are great, but they come with a learning curve. I skated a lot as a teen, and the Dinghy was still a bit squirrelly on the first few rides. They're fast, they turn quick and they're high off the ground. Something slightly longer, lower and stiffer might serve you better to learn, but the Dinghy is still a great choice.
@@haikat4 Yep you nailed it, I ended up getting one and everything you said is spot on. I got use to it pretty quickly though and love it now, just not great for some big downhills!
I don't have much experience. My pick is the Long Island Cruiser 30'' Barrel. For me it has the perfect shape, every day I discovered why it looks like that. And it's so well thought out! And the colors, graphics and the color of the wheels are pure art. I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it and bought it the same day.
A Landyachtz dinghy was my first, and so far only board. I'm still a beginner and trying to learn some tricks, but I have LOVED my dinghy so much, such a nice, smooth, relaxing ride. I love my dinghy honestly😌I'm glad I decided to get a dinghy as my first board👌can't wait to continue progressing and learning new things on my board!
I got my first board last month and it is the Raft. It is super wide at 9.9 inches but I have big feet so it is super comfortable. The thing is after riding a couple times I find it is heavy and I am having a hard time learning basic skills such as kick turns and manuals on it. I even injured my ankle pushing it around. I still love it (it is super smooth and curvy) but I am torn between getting a Dingy Blunt to learn more basic board control, or just getting a basic popsicle. Most people have also said going down hills on Dingy is bad but one guy here literally races down hill so I don’t know what I’m going to get next.
Im glad I found this video otherwise i would have bought the magneto cruiser. Thanks for making these detailed videos. Really helped us a lot in deciding what to get. Got my dinghy 3 days ago. Really enjoy riding it. Safe ride and more power to ur channel!
I’m pretty sure if u live in the US u could deduct the money u spend on the videos from ur taxes. Do some research tho because it could help u out. The video are amazing btw, like even better than channels with 1M+ subs
love my dingy it rides and turns so smooth i have the meowjiwana model and it’s so nice, only problem i had with mine was that one of the nuts for the trucks was missing but that was an easy fix
As a fellow Dinghy owner, this is a pretty good review. Only thing I would add/change is Zealous also makes that style of bearing with the built-in spacer. They're cheaper, shielded on both sides and super high quality for anyone looking for replacements.
my friend and i were looking at skateboards for awhile and she ended up buying one of these boards we both learnt on this board and it was easy and good so i ordered one too would 100% recommend u buy one and this was my opinion before even watching this video
Liked and subscribed. I recently got an electric unicycle but after a few flat tires i envied my brother on his long board. After a bit of research and how-tos i found you. Thanks a million for the knowledge, happy cruising
My man, pheNOMENAL review. Really wish this review was out when I was buying this board, you would've relieved any worries I had. I really like this board too btw lol. Really trust you, you appear very genuine in your approach, come from a well-rounded background in all types of skating, and have an informed perspective on the product. And especially the amount of detail you went into, mama mia that's a spicy fuckin' review. SO appreciative. Can't wait to see more. Tossin' a like and sub your way, let's get you on your way to becoming the next big skate channel
Love to see more skate content that isn't 100% trick focused. I just skate to cruise so reviews like this are awesome. Review a Z-Flex! Just bought a 32 inch cruiser from them.
Cruising is so underrated. Thanks Radhika, I really appreciate that! I've had a lot of people suggest z-flex, so I'll try my best to do a review in the future
i bought my dinghy as my first cruiser and i absolutely love it, so much that i got another one to either gift or keep if something breaks or what not. it's my favorite board ever and i ride it everywhere i go. ALSO, can i just say for such a small channel you put in more effort than i see in many large channels, each one of the subs you get you deserve and then some
The Perfect Review Channel doesn't exi- Also could you do a review the arbor pilsiner? I got it a week ago and would like to know what you think of it.
Haha I really appreciate that man, thanks! And I would love to get to the Arbor Pilsner - I just researched and it looks sick. I still have a bunch of other boards in the lineup but I took note of it
Quality vid bro! I totally feel you when you said you almost didn't want to ride it because it is truly a piece of art. I felt the same way when I got my Dinghy Adventure Skeleton. I wanted to put it on a wall and whisper "You're beautiful" to it every day.
I saw another channel called AlexandrasGirlyTalk who doesn’t use music in her videos. Many people comment and say they like how she does this, because not many people make videos without music. I personally also like it without music, it gives a more relaxing and casual feeling, but it’s up to him.
I bought one last year and ride mostly in NYC. The one dislike I had was the bearings. When you spun the wheel, it would only spin for a short while before stopping. I switched them out for Bones Reds and the difference in both the wheel spin and, more importantly, the ride was noticeable. The board glided more effortlessly after each pump so I was able to go longer distances with less effort. It made the experience much more enjoyable.
So true with the work of art thing! Every time i look at one to buy i feel bad riding it for some reason! They are to damn beautiful lol. Maybe just need to get a deck to hang and one to ride lol. Idk
@@totalradicalness hey what's your shoe size if I may ask? Mine's a US size 9 and I'm torn between the blunt and tugboat. Would a tugboat be quite heavy?
@@Commander_Cat I'm a US size 9 as well, I like my tugboat size a little more than my dinghy coffin, supposedly the blunt is right between. Blunt ought to be fine but I like the tugboats wider trucks and extra width
My wife just ordered me a dinghy for our 10th year anniversary 💕 im very excited to rip on this. I've been skating enjoi and real boards forever and I love it but there's nothing like cruising and carving its so relaxing, by the way great video!
Hey man, since you stated to drop a comment if you find anything, I found a huge design flaw in the bearings. Having the spacers built in created a friction that made the bearings on my wheel permanently lodged onto the trucks. I was able to remove 3/4 wheels but one wheel was not coming off with cleaner, wd-40, or a hammer! In the end, I used a flat head screwdriver and a hammer trying to pop the wheel off but what occurred was me destroying the actual bearings and getting the wheel off but the spacers stayed on the truck and could not be removed. This made me basically throw the entire board away and purchase a new one - I will replace the bearings and use normal spacers. Here's a 2 min video that I shot to showcase the issue. ua-cam.com/video/I5oWoh7CW7s/v-deo.html Thanks.
Are you sure they didn’t just fuse onto the axle from all that rust? I don’t think that had anything to do with the spacers. You should go for ceramics or titanium bearings.
The dinghy is super legit, but I totally agree about wanting more deck space. I used to exclusively ride a loaded bhangra(v1), and while the dinghy is solid, it just don't dance. I got a new loaded mata hari coming in and I'm effing stoked. Great content dude!
i got the dinghy in january 2020 and i use it vey often and is very reliable. ive seen someone do double kickflips on my board if you want it for tricks. i used it almost everyday may-july on 4 mile journeys from the skatepark to my house. its very good board i really recomend
This video is making me feel really good about my uninformed purchase. (Walked into a skate shop and just picked one up without knowing anything about it) this baord is awesome.
i rode one of these for 4 years with no maintenance, it got driven over a few times and i would ride it through mud puddles when i could for lack of knowledge because i thought it was fun and the thing is still perfectly rideable but i’ve swapped over to riding a skateboard and getting to place to place on a bike
I would love to see a review of the Shape 9. It's a cool alternative that's between the Dingy and the Tugboat with a slightly wider base (8.5") than the Dinghy (8"). It uses the same truck and wheel setup as the Dinghy so it's easy to transfer out decks without issue.
Outstanding review my man. I have to say I run a photography channel but my skateboard reviews are the most popular thing. Ive got a dinghy review thats like over 140,000 views but its been up two years. strange enough I have the tugboat as well and even though its larger I tend to grab the dinghy most of the time, its just so nimble. dig what youre doing, I dont subscribe to alot of channels but you just got a new one.
Thanks man, that means A LOT! I came across your channel from the nickel vs dinghy review and loved it. It was the first review I came across that was well put together, clear, and actually helpful. Dig what you're doing as well!

This man puts out nothing but quality, I genuinely can say he’s the reason I got into boards. Never crossed my mind until one of his videos randomly came up. Hehe got a ghost board a bit ago 🙈
I agree that it's amazing that they plant one tree per board. The problem right now is that their stock is currently almost always sold out. My theory as to why might be overseas production issues related to COVID-19.
If you’re worried about the deck space being small don’t if you’re use to a regular popsicle but if you’ve never stepped on a board before I’d listen to this man for sure 😂
I built a board that was essentially a dinghy, same shape and all that. Was a 28” cruiser deck from Sector 9 with Thunder trucks and some Arbor cloud rider wheels. You can really do anything with this platform if you are brave enough and I felt that learning to simply ride your board and learn balance and handling was a very good platform to start from rather than start street skating with a popsicle type deck. Plus I never liked the small hard wheels, and my Arbor cloud riders have held up so well I definitely recommend them. I’ve been riding them for a year plus and they still have a lot of grip, even on the downhill.

I’ve been riding a LY Dinghy for 3 years now. Awesome deck, it absolutely shreds. I take it out through town raking up +30km, going from beachside paths to local roads and downhills. I am looking at a larger deck for free riding and longer distances, but my Dinghy still get plenty of love. Recommendations for this channels video, less rambling.
The only other mod I made to mine was a front foot stop, just to keep me from sliding off.
i absolutely love my dinghy and agreed with everything you said! also, this video quality is insane and im SO happy you came up on my recommended page :) cant wait to binge all of your videos lol
also!! once you get the time/resources id looove to see you test out a freebord, i feel like that would be a super neat video if youre in any way interested in it :)))
Wow, thanks so much! I've always been curious about the freebord, so hopefully in the future I'll test it out
I started on a Landyachtz Dugout, but right after that one I got the turbo king. Absolutely love them, I just started skating at 30yrs, about a month ago lol
Thats awesome man! Im 27 and I want to get into skating. I was looking at the turbo king and it looks fun. Would you recommend it????
@@jonathanalfaro1466 If you’ve never skated before, it might be a little scary at first honestly. In my case, I had already gotten comfortable on my Dugout by Landyachtz so when I switched over it was a little more natural. But if you get it, just try getting used to it, shouldn’t take long as it’s super comfortable and fun to ride. It’s very turny, very maneuverable.
man youre gonna be big soon i can see it. the shooting angles, quality, taking everything apart to show the quality of parts! I hit the sub button faster than a downhill longboarder
Hahaha yooo I appreciate that! 😂🙌🏼
1 minute into this video and I fuck heavily with this dude's authenticity. My "generation" went from watching OG YTers who just straight up posted shit to seeing the advent of the whole "Don't forget to like, comment and subscribe" habit / pattern. This difference is fresh and definitely welcomed
I bought the landyachtz dinghy blunt - literally a perfect board.
I was watching at your contents when I notice you don't have millions of subscribers (yet). The quality of your videos is great and you know what you are talking about. Thank you a lot!
Thanks so much! I appreciate that
I am a complete noob, first time rider and bought this board as my first board.
Do u have any updates on how it’s going? I’m about to get started, just curious about the process haha.
Man I'm 33 and in the same boat, trying to find my first cruiser to keep up with my kids
@@mattfarrar5472 Awesome. I love mine too. Glad you're happy with your purchase! The speed wobbles are part of the fun xD
I love how all of your sarcasm has no tell what so ever, makes it way funnier.
Their Schooner Swell is a nice "blown up dinghy" as well, one of my favorite boards. Very nice for the price.
Just checked it. That thing looks sickkk. Would love to pick one of those up eventually
I thought about scooping it up when I saw it for sale somewhere recently 🧐 what do you consider makes it your favorite?
I don't have much experience. My pick is the Long Island Cruiser 30'' Barrel. For me it has the perfect shape, every day I discovered why it looks like that. And it's so well thought out! And the colors, graphics and the color of the wheels are pure art. I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it and bought it the same day.
I have one of these, I haven’t ridden it yet bc it’s winter, but thank you for the review!
I landed on this video as i was thinking to switch from normal board to dinghy cruiser.
Well done explaining it in details
I just bought one. It's so smooth! Love how it's made in Canada and not China.
Just got back into skating. Bought a cruiser board. Didn't realize how different they are from a street skateboard. I ate shit sooo many times lol.
Yup, you're right. I still need to figure out some things behind the scenes. But that's definitely the plan. Thanks for the support!
Every time he says subscribe to his channel , I forget that I am already subscribed. Love this channel
love my dingy it rides and turns so smooth i have the meowjiwana model and it’s so nice, only problem i had with mine was that one of the nuts for the trucks was missing but that was an easy fix
I almost got the meowjiwana model - that graphic is sooo sick
As a fellow Dinghy owner, this is a pretty good review. Only thing I would add/change is Zealous also makes that style of bearing with the built-in spacer. They're cheaper, shielded on both sides and super high quality for anyone looking for replacements.
Thanks was on the fence whether to get space balls or zealous, will get zealous bearings.
JUST PICKED UP THIS BOARD TODAY!
Same!
my friend and i were looking at skateboards for awhile and she ended up buying one of these boards we both learnt on this board and it was easy and good so i ordered one too would 100% recommend u buy one and this was my opinion before even watching this video
That's awesome. They're overall great boards!
thanks! even though i watched your review after ordering it, it still helped a lot! (the board is supposed to come friday)
This was a really good quality and really informative video. Thank you!
Stoked to hear that! Thanks 👍🏼
Duuudde thank you, this just got me sooo stoked haha. Really appreciate this comment. The dinghy is such a solid board!
Alright you convinced me to finally get one 😭
I love that you reviewed the exact model I was interested in. Thumbs up and I subscribed. ✌🏽
Haha awesome. You won’t regret it - it’s an overall great cruiser. Thanks for subbing, really appreciate that 🙌🏼
i bought my dinghy as my first cruiser and i absolutely love it, so much that i got another one to either gift or keep if something breaks or what not. it's my favorite board ever and i ride it everywhere i go.
ALSO, can i just say for such a small channel you put in more effort than i see in many large channels, each one of the subs you get you deserve and then some
Nice that's a good idea getting a backup. And thank you, I really appreciate that!
The Perfect Review Channel doesn't exi-
Also could you do a review the arbor pilsiner? I got it a week ago and would like to know what you think of it.
Haha I really appreciate that man, thanks! And I would love to get to the Arbor Pilsner - I just researched and it looks sick. I still have a bunch of other boards in the lineup but I took note of it
Quality vid bro! I totally feel you when you said you almost didn't want to ride it because it is truly a piece of art. I felt the same way when I got my Dinghy Adventure Skeleton. I wanted to put it on a wall and whisper "You're beautiful" to it every day.
Haha right?! They're beautiful boards. Thanks man, appreciate you watching
aw yeah landyachtz was my second board and I love it. The setup is clean too bro🔥🔥🔥
Thanks man! I agree, I'm loving my Landyachtz so far
All these comments from 3 weeks ago like he’s under a thousand subs def gonna blow up. 3 weeks later here we are at 11k
Add some chill music in the background. It makes the most out of the experience
I saw another channel called AlexandrasGirlyTalk who doesn’t use music in her videos. Many people comment and say they like how she does this, because not many people make videos without music. I personally also like it without music, it gives a more relaxing and casual feeling, but it’s up to him.
You are the most underrated review channel that I've ever seen. Your videos looks so profesional and good.
Wow, I really appreciate that. Thanks!
Amazing review, this confirmed me in my decision
This quality is so good considering the number of subs, so good, this channel has to blow up
i feel like this would be a board id cruise with to the park and then actually do tricks on it because of the deck
Idk
Haha right! Can tell they're well thought out
I've had two dinghys over the span of 5 or so years, and I love it. I haven't tried any other cruisers but plenty of skateboards and longboards.
Nice! They're overall quality boards
does it get speed wobble easily? like going around 25mph
@@michaelscott1037 Yeah if you're going 25mph, it'll speed wobble. Especially since it's such a tiny board
U should do a tugboat review bc im thinking abt getting one in like a month
I have a tugboat, I'd say do it. You won't regret it
@@totalradicalness hey what's your shoe size if I may ask?
Your videos are awesome. Throughly enjoyed every video that you've uploaded. Keep it going! 😁👍
Wow, I really appreciate that. Thanks for watching them!
Got this board for Christmas, and I'm loving it! The size is perfect under my feet and it's so carvy and fun. 100/100 I recommend.
Here's a 2 min video that I shot to showcase the issue.
ua-cam.com/video/I5oWoh7CW7s/v-deo.html
Thanks.
Are you sure they didn’t just fuse onto the axle from all that rust? I don’t think that had anything to do with the spacers. You should go for ceramics or titanium bearings.
Most natural guy on YT. Love it.
Awesome. Yeah it’s a great one!
i rode one of these for 4 years with no maintenance, it got driven over a few times and i would ride it through mud puddles when i could for lack of knowledge because i thought it was fun and the thing is still perfectly rideable but i’ve swapped over to riding a skateboard and getting to place to place on a bike
I would love to see a review of the Shape 9. It's a cool alternative that's between the Dingy and the Tugboat with a slightly wider base (8.5") than the Dinghy (8"). It uses the same truck and wheel setup as the Dinghy so it's easy to transfer out decks without issue.
This is the design I wasn't thinking about getting. Great content you've convinced me
Would love to see more Landyachtz boards soon!
@@concrete-waves that is man , I know what you mean, I try to be the best communicator possible and not waste viewers time. I will make time to catch up on your history of vids
Always the best reviews. Thanks
Bro’s.... after deciding on buying a dinghy, came in today and have been cruising all morning. So much fun to be had on there boards.
So stoked to hear that man! Enjoy
Yeah that seems to be the issue with most companies right now. Covid made longboard popularity spike and then they couldn't keep up with production
If you’re worried about the deck space being small don’t if you’re use to a regular popsicle but if you’ve never stepped on a board before I’d listen to this man for sure 😂
Amazing video man! I love my new Dinghy, it's now my favorite board of mine to ride.
this is the most underrated UA-cam ever, LETS GET HIM TO 100k
I built a board that was essentially a dinghy, same shape and all that. Was a 28” cruiser deck from Sector 9 with Thunder trucks and some Arbor cloud rider wheels. You can really do anything with this platform if you are brave enough and I felt that learning to simply ride your board and learn balance and handling was a very good platform to start from rather than start street skating with a popsicle type deck. Plus I never liked the small hard wheels, and my Arbor cloud riders have held up so well I definitely recommend them. I’ve been riding them for a year plus and they still have a lot of grip, even on the downhill.
just found this channel and wow i love it so much! i just picked up skating/longboarding last year, this channel would've been a godsend then hahaha. i can't believe yall dont have more subs yet!! i hope you do more landyahctz reviews- i have a tugboat and i think theyre a really great company :)
Wow, I really appreciate that - thank you! Planning to do more landyachtz reviews, just need to save up so I can buy more haha. I agree though, they're a quality company!

I’m convincing my dad to get me a dinghy crown peak, I might get it for Christmas because of you, thank you for your review!
This is probably the best review on the dinghy I’ve ever seen
The dinghy is my second board after I got a no name brand drop down to start riding. Never rode anything in my life and I got on the dingy after my 3 or 4th ride. Was scary at first but it's so smooth!
Very nice review from a non sponsored video I already bought a dinghy and loved it since I had only had a longboard but I wanted something to cruise on and do some cooler tricks.Saw this vid in my recommended and dang like everyone’s said before the quality of this vid is astounding just keep at it and you’ll have a steady growth. Good luck man!
Glad you like you're dinghy. And thanks much, I appreciate that man!
Don't see this very often.... An actual helpful review. Nice work
Stoked to hear that, thanks bro!
It’s okay to have personality, but sometimes I wish these videos would just get to the point.
I had a downhill/freeride board when I was a teen. It eventually got stolen(RIP OG Earthwing Supermodel), and I went years without stepping on a longboard. I bought a Landyachtz Tugboat and HOLY COW this is the most fun skateboard I have ever step foot on. These boards just RIP!!! You can just go nuts on these things. Buy one now!!
I love the Dinghy!
I got the Dinghy Blunt, which is 8.6 wide instead of the normal 8.0.
Really smooth and comfortable ride around the city.
Awesome, I totally agree. It's a great all-around cruiser.
im sooo glad that the built-in spacers on bearings are much more common these days. ill never go back to standard bearings...
You have a really good channel here, dude. For real!! I, like most people around here, I can see this totally blowing up!
