So the only commentary I have is that while I am very sure you are using a "double d" shaft, I don't think you ever actually explained what a "double d" shaft is. And while that was (I think) available via context (flats and curves being traced, ergo two capital letter D's with the flats facing one another), you normrally fully explain things or at least put it into text overlay and I found the lack of description notable. As an aside, when you say "use a judgement" it's a very you thing. Most people would say "this is my best guess" but you are making a judgement based on the visuals and measurements you've collected, and you say so. Edit: The irony in putting a turn signal lever on a racecar that you're going to trailer :)
