What a great vintage Class C. Very nice lay-out and overall design. Those rear wrap-around windows are the best. Thanks for sharing. Please post more videos.
Goodonya. When we bought our Lazydaze, it was with the intent of being able to travel while we were rebuilding our sailboat. We ended up falling in love with our Lazy Daze and have regretted selling her. Best-built class c hands down.
Buying a 1984 I can't wait to get on the road drive one I'm a Chevy man can't wait to see how the 350 runs it has 94000 miles it pretty clean but no generator no room for one happy camping
Ours had the 350 with a 4 barrel carb. Was actually fairly peppy. Steeper grades could bog it down to around 35 mph. Headers and a cam would help with that. My biggest gripe was that it begged for an overdrive gear.
@@Rvfootprints I'm pretty sure they put a 4 bolt main moter you could cam it it and roller rockers it will wake it up I'm buying a 1984 I'm a Chevy macanic
Although we no longer have our Lazy Daze, we really loved it. Not only built like a tank, but the floor plan for the twin king was great. These days we've moved to a travel trailer.
I really love that rig. The wrap around windows are killer.Everything is original for sure. If it's mechanically sound, I think it's worth updating like you said. Gotta get that thing water tight for sure before any major upgrades. Thanks for the tour. Hey, by the way, were you ever in radio or do voice overs? You have a great news radio voice.
The windows are what sold us, too. She is in good mechanical shape, and runs really well. I picked up the new roof vent today, and will probably be installing it this weekend. Thank God for living in southern California and not having to worry about rain very often. Never worked in radio with the exception of engineering them. I had a few places try to recruit me because of my voice, but never felt the urge to change careers. Thanks though!
Nice! I'm searching for videos of this, since I have just bought one as well! It's a 22' model 1984, with the 350 4bb carb. Mine had low miles as well and have been surprisingly well kept! That seems to be a trend for these RVs . Lazy daze has a nice heritage and the build quality is stunning! Did yours come with a hand drawn and personally typed owners manual too? Now that's a show of care put into these rigs.
ArctikF0X Hey, and thanks for the comment. We have since sold our Lazy Daze, but we really loved that RV. They are really well built! If we were to buy another motor RV the Lazy Daze would be at the top of our list.

just won the same model, layout and year in an ebay auction. thanks for the tour.

We have an 83 Lazy Daze, almost the same exact floor plan. Thanks for sharing!
Sure. We sold ours a while back, but we still pine over her. The twin king is a great layout and if we ever buy another, it will be the same.

@@tedgallegos5039 Let me know how things turn out. To this day we regret selling our Twin King. Best layout ever.
Great shape for a 30 year old RV. Nice find.
Soooo 80's! Love it! That bathroom is not engineered for modern day fast food fed Americans!

Awesome, how big is the gas tank
As I recall, I think it was 51 gallons.
We have a Lazy Daze that needs a new roof vent. Would you tell us where you ordered yours (26x26?) Thanks.
I Bought A 81 👍
Best class C on the market.
Nice! What is your engine? I have a 1985 Allegro, which runs a Chevy 454, 7.4 L V8. Just curious if your engine is similar. Have a great day!
Thanks! She has the Chevy 350/4 barrel, with dual exhaust. Thanks for subscribing, and the favor was returned.
