That part with the mumbling, I don't think I heard it but that was definitely a creepy vibe especially with you just staring into blackness. A reason to have someone with you and a flashlight handy. Exploring abandoned places like this can be hazardous and not seeing where you are walking can be a big problem. Plus with a buddy if there was someone there they could be dangerous and can have a weapon like a gun so yeah. Definitely scarier than seeing you drive an old rig with no brakes and 50 year old rotting tires on the highway.

Urbex is awesome! Lots of really cool stuff to see! Just be careful. I've done quite a few explorations, and you really have to watch every step. You don't want to get hurt and stranded in some place when you're alone. Have fun, but treat these places with respect. They can hurt you before you know what's happening!
You can TRY to make a deal, but then you'd sit in the Finance & Insurance office for about 3-hours talking extended soul warranty, satanic paint protection, blah blah blah.
Anxiety was creeping up exponentially, especially after discovering you were just a few feet away from a open (black) pit. The upstairs doors to nowhere (doom) we’re a nice touch too. Let’s revisit around Halloween. 😉
If a feller is going to wander around inside abandoned building he might want to start keeping a couple flashlights in the vehicles. Knowing his luck with battries though they'd probably not work when he needed them to. Get a couple of handcrank powered flashlights just in case.
That used to be a Chevy dealer. I drive by it all the time too. I had no idea the inside would be that vandalized. Just wouldn't think that would be the case given the location. The ironic part is the slogan on their sign was "We'll Be Here".
Neat. I follow a couple of other "urban exploration" chanels, and I always have fun guessing what the purpose remains of equipment found on the walls used to serve when it was a working facility. I would guess that those steep drops from the second floor were probably vent trunks from the old HVAC system before the scrappers pulled it out of there, and the pits on the first floor were probably where the old-style hydraulic vehicle lifts used to live in the service bays. A guy does have to watch his step, though.
"Well thank you for stopping at The Blair Witch Auto Emporium and Ritual Killing Center!! Next time bring the kids, were having a bloodbath poster contest!"
A little tip for anyone else who likes to explore abandoned places. Wear gloves or don't touch anything. If someone gets murdered there, your finger prints could be found and you could be accused. Wear gloves.
That's really the least of your worries, respirator #1 those buildings can be festering for a long time and gasses can hang out in there that displace the oxygen and make you go to sleep, #2 is flashlight because not being able to see can get you seriously injured, #3 is good boots and thick gloves so you don't get aids
If you had the money you could buy that & put all your vehicles in it after you get it fixed back up & the walls repainted & glass replaced, store your vehicles in the winter & display them when the weather is nice outside
I'm thinking maybe you should look into buying the place and renovating it to be your shop, it is already setup to do vehicle repair and storage, so it wouldn't be much to get the place suitable for your purposes. Cleanup, replacing the glass and rewiring would be the biggest hurdles for you to do that I think.
I keep waiting for him to start reviving the building and explaining each step, cutting corners slightly and at the end driving the building home 900 miles.

You don't want to get hurt and stranded in some place when you're alone. Have fun, but treat these places with respect. They can hurt you before you know what's happening!
Never knew a feller had a 2nd channel. Pretty nifty!
I definitely didn't spend enough time watching videos, so more things to watch is perfect!
I know exactly where that is. When the dealership was open, they would have fun night time car shows.
That was just torn down about a week ago… if that’s the place in elk river… I believe it was called Saxon motors.
Will we be seeing that “Abandoned Cozy Coup, that hasn’t run in years”, “can we get it running and drive it 1 miles?” on a future episode of VGG?
Make a deal on it. New VGG headquarters?
That's what a feller was thinking.
You can TRY to make a deal, but then you'd sit in the Finance & Insurance office for about 3-hours talking extended soul warranty, satanic paint protection, blah blah blah.
Love to see what the best of society has to offer. Kids tagging, thieves, unnecessary destruction, etc.
The best part about that place is the sign out front that say "we'll be here" 😂🤣
Anxiety was creeping up exponentially, especially after discovering you were just a few feet away from a open (black) pit. The upstairs doors to nowhere (doom) we’re a nice touch too. Let’s revisit around Halloween. 😉
No matter what you do is entertaining and it’s you and your personality
If a feller is going to wander around inside abandoned building he might want to start keeping a couple flashlights in the vehicles. Knowing his luck with battries though they'd probably not work when he needed them to. Get a couple of handcrank powered flashlights just in case.
This is my new favourite horror genre. "A Feller Explores"
Plot twist. Derek just bought this building! LOL
its been demoed.
@@jb202ater That's too bad, it would have been awesome had he bought it:}
@@jb202ater I said this before I saw the extent of the damage:} That thing needed to be demoed.
And then drove it home 600 miles
When she said gps signal lost I instantly thought they’ll never find you’re body
In a place like that you never want to hear of anything being lost!
Your*
Well…the minute that I “thought that I heard mumbling” would have sent me to the exit.
But where is the exit?
@@modacare4546 If it were me, I'da Kool-Aid me an exit right through that wall!!!! LOL
Wait I just realized this isn’t the OG channel and a guy is watching a second channel. Well I’ll be DIPPED!!!
Lol that was great, why do I find myself say that "wel I'll be dipped" LOL.
Or, well I'll be duped! :-)
You ain't the only one
I saw "Vice Grip Lodge" and was like, "Some sumbeeya stole..." then I saw it was you hahahaha
First thing I thought before you entered.... Waych out for (oil) pits...
Not to mention you may come across fairly recent bodily fluids...
That's really the least of your worries, respirator #1 those buildings can be festering for a long time and gasses can hang out in there that displace the oxygen and make you go to sleep, #2 is flashlight because not being able to see can get you seriously injured, #3 is good boots and thick gloves so you don't get aids
There needs to be a Derek investigates abandoned haunted buildings channel…
I remember when that dealership was built in ER MN. Scary tour for sure, I was waiting for someone to answer when you'd say hello.
If you had the money you could buy that & put all your vehicles in it after you get it fixed back up & the walls repainted & glass replaced, store your vehicles in the winter & display them when the weather is nice outside
A guy coulda used a light maker 5000! Those stairs definitely looked creepy
That old intro was a blast of nostalgia not gonna lie 😂
Am I dreaming? A guy couldn't be more excited on these new developments!
I'm thinking maybe you should look into buying the place and renovating it to be your shop, it is already setup to do vehicle repair and storage, so it wouldn't be much to get the place suitable for your purposes. Cleanup, replacing the glass and rewiring would be the biggest hurdles for you to do that I think.
thanks for taking us along
