And have you thought of where you will go when you die? There is only Heaven or Hell, and we all live again on the other side the second we die here. I chose God by praying, "God, Jesus, Please come into my heart and my life. And please forgive me from my sins because I am a sinner and I have sinned. I am sorry. I do believe that Jesus came to earth and died on a cross for the forgiveness of my sins and he arose from the dead and is alive today. Thank you for hearing my prayer." AND IF YOU REALLY MEAN THIS PRAYER, you will go to Heaven to live with God when you die. I prayed this in 2015 when I thought I was dying and miracle changes happened to me, and my life has been a million times better ever since. I know that when I die here, I will go to live with God in Heaven where it will be more wonderful than any of us can imagine now.

There will be NO OTHER DECADE than '80s-'90s... my youth. WHAT MASTERPIECE SONGS we were dancing and singing in the clubs!!! That decade was the "MEKKA" of hard rock, universal!
Whitesnake was so much more than a one-hit-wonder glam rock band. They have lots of unbelievable, purebred rock classics, excellent guitar playing and vocals.
Glam rock? What? I don't think this sounds like David Bowie, they began as a blues rock band, to then become a glam metal band for a bit and now sit halfway between the both...
@@jpoulter8845 genre studies is a complex thing but I agree with you that this isn't glam rock. How much of glam rock is in the music and how much is in the look of the band and the music videos though?

I'm 80, & I have seen it all, from the birth of ro k & roll in the 50's, to surf music, going into the 70's then the 80' where some of the greatest songs & bands were born
I was born in the late 70s, so I was a kid in the 80s. Everything about the 80s is a childhood thing to me. When the internet first came out, and I could revisit those 80s childhood memories, it was really neat. But on one 80s video, I saw someone saying how fun it was to have been an adult in the 80s, and I bet it was! I would have been such a fun time to be an adult, or even a teenager. I turned 13 in 1990, so my teens were spent in the 90s, which, honestly, wasn't an espeically interesting time to be a teenager....it was all Nirvana, and grunge music.
Tawny's death absolutely breaks my heart, but I can't say how much Tawny's death breaks my mama's heart. Tawny and my mom were actually real good friends with each other: in the 80s, my mom was dating a musician in the band, Great White, and they toured with Whitesnake for six weeks. My mom got to come. There, with Tawny being married to lead singer, David Coverdale at the time, she met Tawny and the rest of the band members of Whitesnake. Music has only been in my blood, and it's a big part of who I am since my mom has basically grew up in the music industry. She has met and talked with a lot of famous rock stars and blues stars, and had a band when she was in high school - played bass. Music seems to be the thing that I go to, in both the good and the bad. I really do believe that music is a language of its own, and like Don Henley once stated, it's the tribal drum that everyone seems to follow, and that is a blessing in and of itself. The boys all wanted her and the girls wanted to be her
I grew up in the 80s and - outside of Coverdale's amazing voice and the model's sexiness - I didn't think this was iconic in the least. I thought it was just one of too many ridiculous "hair metal" videos of the period. Corporate, glossy, completely bland, by-the-book, commercial vacuousness. As well as being totally Spinal Tap funny.

A really hard part about getting older is seeing people you watched and admired while growing up pass away. It definitely reminds us of our mortality and to keep in mind we're not going to live forever.
R.I.P. TAWNY KITEAN.
Well put I couldn't have said it better
Well said
And have you thought of where you will go when you die?

What?
what is gonna happen in 24 hours
My 54 year old father, a really healthy man, just passed away yesterday. He never said he had a favourite song, but I assume that it was this one, because he loved it. Thank you for being a great person and father. Rest in peace.
Edit: Thank you all for the great replies, they're all really nice. I feel way better, and I've gone more over the passing. I still have the shock, but I know my father is always right next to me, no matter if I see him or not. This song was definitely "our" song. We used to go on short road trips the both of us, and I always played this song. He always sang along, meanwhile we drove.
Edit 2: Again, I can't thank enough for the kind comments, you're all really nice. Sorry though, if I can't reply to all of you, but I'll try my best!
Edit 3: I did not expect to have this many likes for my little story. Thank you so much everyone! Update, I am doing great. Of course, I miss him a lot, he is a missing puzzle piece, but I’ll survive.
Bless your father...rest in peace.
@@jeanhepner7066 thank you very much ♥️
So sorry for your loss - May your father Rest In Peace.
@@merayel-ahdab5573 thank you
So sorry mate. My dad's the same age. May he rest easy
I am so thankful for the music I had available to me at 18 years old in 1974. ❤
Listening to this song feels like Heaven...
If only theres a black priest that will listen to my confessions😗😗
Feels like I’m in a GEICO commercial
I'm just another heart in need of rescue....waiting on love's sweet charity...and I'm gonna hold on for the rest of my days, cuz I know what it means, to walk along the lonely street of dreams
rightttttttttttt
@@youdroppedsomething4334 Hat tip to GEICO's ad agency for reviving this great song that appeals to so many.
Take the hint, Madison Ave,... to sell a product or service you have to have an audience and TV channels don't own viewers any longer,.. so use the Music to draw them in on all screens now,... got it?
RIP Tawny!! One of the most beautiful women of the 80’s. She was who we all wished to be♥️🌷
Yeees?
Absolutely agree. Her face and that smile at 3:25 are just beyond gorgeous.
Hello, how are you doing? It is nice seeing you here.
@@jenniferdinatti2358Hey there, Good evening I came across your comment and I just had to reach out and say hi. Your perspective really caught my attention and I would love to get to know you better. Would you be interested in chatting sometime? Looking forward to hear back from you Ok
A huge fan of Whitesnake. Araki you're a fucking icon when you name Pucci's stand.

I loved the radio version of this song in S2E8 of Cobra Kai.
Araki has introduced me to so many good songs.
araki has a stand named G.O.A.T because it is both a song and the manifestation of his fighting spirit
@@mig4004 Yo this song matches with you since you can’t get a girl so you watch hent@i :D
