I can feel your pain. Sometimes getting the bolt out of a spring eye can be one SOB. If you have the time, soaking it with penetrating oil over night can be a big help. A little heat can also help. So can a big hammer. And if all else fails and you can get the blade of a sawsall between the spring eye and the hanger, cut it out. And if things really fail, burn it out. But be careful.
@@EatonDetroitSpring thank you for the tips. In my mind I had a simple bolt on bolt off process but that’s never the case with a 24 yr old vehicle. Spent 2 hours on a bolt to find out bolts were rusted to the metal sleeve inside the bushing. Had to cut 3 out of 4 off with the angle grinder haha. Just looked at your site, If you ever started a ford ranger line I’d buy for sure. Good stuff!
@@Nikkk6969 We do offer springs for Rangers, in fact we manufacture springs for more than 175,000 applications. None of us will live long enough to get them all put on line, so if you springs for something you do not see on our web site, give us a call.
what a dangerous jack !
Why do you say that?
How’d you get your bushing bolt come out without melting it out
