my htoughts exactly how does a mythic players not know that was lethal on ghalta.... meanwhile all the gold plat and diamond players i play against never make a mistake and always top deck gas. So witnessing that was frustrating af.
Because he didn't see the burst lightning in nummys hand like youtubers and assumed he would keep his other creature alive because he had seen about 15 lands between the draws/graveyard.
That game 4 was 100% winnable. 40:00 You could have just stolen and sacced the 3/3 to draw try to hit a land drop you get the treasure back anyway. You could have also made a token and sacced it to try to draw a land the following turn.
Jeez, reminds me of the deck some dumpstered me with when I went to my foundations prerelease. Had three vampires gormands, two Alesha's, an abyssal harvester, and a high society hunter and plenty of on-color removal and sac fodder. Naturally, he went undefeated.
When it comes to thinning the deck down at the end, I notice you split the deck by creatures and non-creatures, what is the main thing you're trying to evaluate when removing cards?
I went 7-2 with a rakdos raid deck where I kept drawing Perforating Artist, Strongbox and Alesha backed by some removal. I couldn't believe how I kept winning.
26:40 is there any consideration to chump attacking with the Rat for the Raid trigger on the Artist? Or does it become immediately bad because of the token?
Def not a bad play but I think the reason it was held back was because they could just take it and then attack in for way more damage, at the moment the rat was holding back those two x:1 creatures as he could kill the 3:1 then have the 1:1 to trade with the cat, so he was just keeping it back to get a bit more time to try to get a land
47:53 luck was not the reason you lost that game and using the treasure to run out krenko was definitely not the right play. It was the greedy play and you simply got punished for it. You should have used the treasure to steal their 3/3 and sack it, removing the opponent's only threat, giving you another treasure for next turn and also drawing an extra card towards more lands which you desperately needed. Not to mention it would have incentivized the opponent to use removal on your vampire if they had it, making it more likely krenko stuck around. That 3/3 you left ended up doing 9 damage for free.
So, nobody's gonna look at you funny for saying it how you do, but it's usually pronounced with something like a slight French accent. Gor-mond with the mon there pronunced the same as in pokemon
39:14 Gourmand is french. You pretty much nail the 'Gour' part the 'man' does need a little work it not like one man as in male human nothing to hard try 'M' follow by 'AN' like in necro/man/cer and forget the D the D is there for the feminine version of the word Gourmande. I look it up apparently english did stole and use gourmand and english speeker do bucher the word the same way you do so ... do what you want
the thought process at 1:05:20 is genius, something I never would even imagine to think of.
kenji really is the goat
first guy was himself on a differnet computer noone punts like that but nummy paid actor confirmed lmao
I dunno i misclicked the wrong mode on slagstorm yesterday and shame scooped
@@richglix lmao i did it with that dragon wrath
My best guess is either a misclick or he thought it gave trample as well for some reason

Such a good set for micromancer. Bushwhack, snakeskin veil, burst lightning, etc
It always funny to hear Nummy compliment op deck while crushing him xD
25:10 it's me :) Long time watcher, it was an honor to play against you!

Yeah
i aggre i thought the same!
Lets get Nummy up to 100k!!
I had krenko in a paper draft over the weekend. Pulled off a win with 60 tokens. Had a r/g goblin heavy deck. N I have fallen in love with krenko.
Jeez, reminds me of the deck some dumpstered me with when I went to my foundations prerelease. Had three vampires gormands, two Alesha's, an abyssal harvester, and a high society hunter and plenty of on-color removal and sac fodder. Naturally, he went undefeated.

I'm looking mostly at the creature curve (and it's easier to see the removal)
42:30 flavor win

“Gor-mond”!
don´t spend any cent in this garbage, the shuffler is disgusting, is so expensive and doesn´t have a good balance game.
