It looks complicated, but it's simple as long as you have the patience and follow the directions. I used to be intimidated at stuff like this but it turns out it's kinda like Legos.

Restore through iTunes. Hope you've backed up to iCloud or iTunes.

Christopher Lemus normally if you connect the flex of the screen and you ll turn it on, it should work! Check it well

My screen fights me with them clippy attachments...Ive sat it down several time in the last 3 days. I despise it. Alllllll this bc the battery swelled up broke the screen bezel or frame and it apparently cant be easily popped off nd on vs full acreen replacement with a battery replacement. Im stressed 😂

You took a long route. can be fixed without taking the battery and charging port out.

Buddy it sure can, but trying to reattach the power button cable without taking out the battery is miserable

Is it me or was there extra steps on this tutorial? XD not complaining i enjoyed it. But it felt like i could skip a few steps for just screen replacing lol

I thought this too. I think that if you don’t remove the charge port, it is difficult and risky to lift the motherboard and connect the flex cables properly. Looks like i was taught the risky “shortcut” the experienced techs used, instead of the lengthier but safer route seen in this video.

Christopher Lemus depends of the provider that you used for the spare part ...it might be not such a good quality!
