I really like your smokehouse and not having to build the firebox is very appealing to me. I think this is the one that I will build thank you for the inspiration…
Thank you. I do this small smoker because I am not allowed to build bigger in my neighborhood, but I wish I could build a walk in smoke room. Then I will smoke everything like you. It is really cool to me be able to do it on my own old way as our fathers and grandfathers did. Thank you for watching.
This is a fantastic and ideal sized Smoker My Friend. I have an electric and propane smoker, but what happens when the Lights Go Out on a Real SHTF Event. No Electricity and no Propane. I had different plans for a little larger Smoker, but once I saw this one, I knew this one was for me. Perfect. Thanks for posting this video. I work at a hospital and we get pallets that are basically a one off, for holding certain types of Hospital operating room equipment. They cannot be used again for any purpose. Lots of longer 2x4's and slats that can be used for framing and siding. I recently bought a 30 lb propane tank that will be cut and converted to a stove like yours, altho I would prefer a stove like the one you're using. Can you tell me the name of it so I might be lucky and track one down. Thanks for your help.

I use my LP torch to light charcoal for my smoker. It is just a one pound LP tank connected to my torch head. I refill the one pound cylinders via my 20# cylinders. I refill them to about 935 grams. If I overfill them I just connect them to my Blackstone griddle and burn them down to a safe weight before storage.

Thank you for watching. This is not just regular smoker that smokes about one hour per pound of meat. I made old fashion smoker for cold smoking. It needs to be performed in winter months when temperature is in 30's. Usually takes about seven to ten days to keep it out in cold and do 3-4 times fire that is good for 3-5 hours at time to produce mostly smoke and not to much of heat. Before smoking there is cure and preparation part. Salting and keeping it in refrigerator for about seven days to cure it and prevent bacteria. You can watch my other 4 videos about it.
