Great video, it looks awesome. I’d be a little worried about the glue in the OSB.

Have you used it yet? If not I would run a couple hot fires in there to seal it in with smoke. I would hope that works cause you did a great job and I wouldn’t want to see it wasted.

The glue used within the chipboard I would be worried about tainting the taste of the meat as well as possibly being toxic when heated

Fantastic vid, enjoyed watching this immensely. Just bought my dad a basic smoker off eBay but may have to try building one for myself now. In Croatia I had smoked chicken out of some little village smokehouse, definitely something to try as was the best chicken I've ever eaten. Cheers gents!

Have you heard about formaldehyde in these plates, when heated it will pass into the meat. It had to be made of just wood, nothing else. Advice for future contractors not to use glued boards.

Cool project, what kind of fireboard have you used? thought about using glasroc or supalux but saw many advising against it. I've recently seen vermiculite fire bricks (1 inch thich, pretty cheap). Also saw vermiculite sheets but very expensive. But the stuff you used ain't vermiculite, what's that?

As I scroll down threw the comments No one seems to criticize anything.... As a former Architectural student, no criticizing no growth... That being said, why did you use concrete board or sheet rock on the inside? I see a lot of people NOT insulating their smoke houses, Why? It seems common sense to me to insulate a smoke house so you use less wood/charcoal... If anyone has an answer, please let me know...
