In my opinion I'd say the Fiend is the hardest to deal with, because this creature has an array of telekinetic powers, he's difficult to avoid. I mean the Hunter and the Brute all they do is run/crawl after you, and can loose them easily, while on the other hand the Fiend can just reach you from a short distance, stop you, and kill you. Think about it, the Brute and the Hunter don't have that kind of skill. And telling from how long your Gameplay was from the others, you can tell that the Fiend, is hard to escape from.
Actually the Brut has a running speed of nearly exactly that of a player, moreover he hones in on you if you stay in one place for too long. Moreover, the Fiend is the slowest of the three, with under half the running speed of the player. Moreover, it's easy to pinpoint the fiend's location if he's near you, whereas the Brute you can't tell if he's above, below, or right on top of you. Also, the Hunter makes very little noise when inactive, so you can't really pinpoint his location.
Exactly. At first gameplay I thought the reinforced electric door would lock him in place. Sadly the hope remained only few seconds as I see him immediately burst out from the room.
I'm agree with you, the Fiend is the hardest and most dangerous monster to deal with because it can paralize you and is smarter than the brute and the hunter, but you have an advantage, when the lights flicker you know it is close.

This is the best means of escape, imo. Because it's safer than the helicopter due to turbulence and the weather and especially the life raft because it's made out of material that could potentially sink. The submarine can also have reserve food and fuel that should be enough to get safely ashore to the nearest island or the mainland, wherever it may be. Safe and sound underwater while travelling as far as possible from that ship and monster!! Lol!
I'm trying to find some nice Monstrum no commentary walkthrough videos but so far yours are the only good ones I found. The rest are either failed attempts or with commentary.
That walkthrough was the scariest one, in my opinion. I do not know why, but the Fiend seems to be more persistent in his search than the other two guys. And he is definitely the most intelligent one, his manner of chasing the player resembles a predator, playing and torturing its defenseless victim +_+
But the fiend is meant to find you no matter what your hiding in! He also has the slowest moving speed, thus literally making him the phrase: “You can run but you can’t hide”
