My husband got couple red spots that looked like razor cuts on his face but they weren't healing. He went to take a test and was diagnosed with skin cancer. The doctor cut them out. Love the dress. Praying for a quick recovery. I live in Florida. Lived here all my life. I had a skin cancer scare myself. Now I avoid sun. Migraines from the summer heat helps because now I really avoid the sun.

It is important to know about the dangers of the sun. You’re right, I’m 56 and I remember putting suntan oil all over my body. The more the better! We never heard of SPF’s or anything like that!! Please give the cardigan sizes for us giants (adults) is possible!! Take care!!

U r beautiful inside and out. I avoid the camera because when i had a virus attack my heart my hair got really thin. Also my swallowing disorder and gi issues have been so bad i got fat from eating sugary stuff cause smoothies bother my ibs and i can't swallow many foods. We will be here to support u the whole time. If u have a bad day or feel crappy I would be here to listen.

Hi Annoo, so glad you caught and are taking are of yourself regarding your precancer! So important to get to treating it early! Dress is gorgeous! I'm still working on the granny square hooded cardigan you shared earlier this year and other wips but will make this at some point! I'm working several hours due to others getting laid off and have a garden this year so crocheting has been very slim, unfortunately😢 Take care!

My dad had to have some carcinoma burned from his head. He is bald and doesn't wear sunscreen. Very dangerous. I wish you complete and swift healing. I am stuck, as the maxi skirt and petal dress are my faves, and now the stunning mermaid dress with endless possibilities of color changes!! Mamma mia, how beautiful!!!!

Oh Annoo, bless you, and heal quickly! You have a lovely daughter! It's a beautiful dress, I'm going to make one for myself, I hope I'm not too old to wear something like this, lol. My generation used to use cooking oil to tan(some even used motor oil). We basically basted ourselves like we were being BBQed on the beach everyday. That's just the way it was back then.(I'm 59 yo). Growing up sunscreen wasn't a thing, as a ginger I burned all summer long .
I have had many spots removed . Most have returned so the next step will be radiation . Sadly, I think many around my age (50) will have the same issues .

Annoo you will be fine trust in your faith I'll pray for you. I know we spent
alot of time in the sun especially when we were beach bunnies. I kept a hat on me almost all the time back then but still worry about the times I didn't cover up. It is good to be safe and keep an eye on this, I wish you health. I love that you made this into an adult size. Can you give us a substitute in a reasonable yarn in a brand name for the white yarn please. I can't afford Katia and Hobbi is expensive too. I haven't been out since March so all my shopping is online. I have an immune system disorder and will get sick easily. Thank You.

I leave in Florida and I'm super careful not to be exposed to the sun for a long period of time and if so, I always put sunscreen.

GREAT IDEA...👋 How about a large brim
SUN HAT. It could be for a child or adult. Possibly with ribbon yarn or tape yarn. Large summer hat with a very pretty dress. This is a bit skimpy for me to wear out doors but I like it sooo much i will still make it but as a negligee.
I am still waiting for yarn to make the last dress, Being in Canada shipping takes a while for Wolltrum Yarn.
I hope to get these made before it snows.
