I think you guys did hit the nail on the head, basically everyone is different and wants the car to do different things. Personally I like a little bit of understeer, I find it easier to handle especially as I've got older (56 next year). I can't get to grips with a 'twitchy' car, does my head in, but other people prefer the car to be less stable. There are so many different cars out there, with different geometries, it's a case of trying them to see what suits you best. I love the old school buggies and cars more than modern ones, although modern cars are waaaaay better in almost every respect compared to the old ones. Excellent video as always!
Had a go with an old B5M (not tried anything newer or older yet) yesterday for an hour of carpet driving. I found it to be very predictable and smooth after a local lent me "the" tires. What a blast! We've been running TT02s there quite a few times and I'm amazed at the buggy's performance!
Good vid guys. I love the vintage Associated buggies. I have a B3 and a B4, not a B2 though. One thing to think of is battery weight. When those vintage buggies were designed they carried more weight and on sometimes loose surfaces. My thinking is that with the reduction in weight because of LiPo batts they could stand having some weights put in them to change/help along the handling. Those vintage buggies aren't what modern buggies are, but I still think they are really good.

Morning gents, clocks have gone back you know….😂😂😂
I've only just been told...
I came in after walking the Dog & said "It's bloody dark out there".! 😁😁
I'm oblivious to most things these days.! 😉
Nice video guys.
On a personal note I hate any racing on carpet there’s nothing realistic about it. I’d rather race in loose dirt or clay.
I agree
😅😅😅
I would marry any woman who could tell me what an rc10 is.
