The car is chilled af. Never thought I would be fascinated with an EV😢
I tested this car recently and was pleasantly surprised with how much I like it (other than the 🐽). It's classic BMW, you get in and drive with 0 learning curve at all - starts exactly like a normal BMW (push start in the centre console), pull the gear lever back and just go. The seating position is good, as usual, but the thing that really stuck out is how comfy the suspension is. They really did such a good job fitting all this EV stuff into an ICE chassis that the only gripe is the lack of a frunk. It is all the performance any normal person would ever need, and is way above a Tesla in terms of refinement and insulation. Even the one-pedal mode was easy to use because of BMW's well weighted accelerator pedals. Can't wait to see them making a true EV build on an EV chassis for this segment.
A company called Wokeby is starting to make a frunk fir the i4 now. Still at proto stage.

I have never seen anyone else do this either! Did you just hold down the brake and accelerator at the same time? Is this how you achieve the offical 0-60 time?

Got to say, don't tell the wife, I was driving north on I5 in Portland Oregon and passed people like they were driving still. I went form 50 to 100 in nothing flat. I do NOT condone this and QUICKLY went down in speed. But this car is much faster than they let on for it to be. And it's menu and options are just amazing. I love my I4 so far. Only just had it going on a week but it is amazing to drive!
How is the space in rear seats?

just so you know for your sake there is a way to set a max speed on your i4 so you don't go over the speed limit...

I don't like any artificial noise. But for those that do there is the option. I don't the like the screens or ambient lighting. I like a dark interior so that there's only the necessary things in the periphery. The car seems pretty fantastic with low road noise and you can hear the solidity in it.
Plus the i4 is very efficient

I love winding roads content, but I would do anything to see a pov of one of these crazy ass drivers getting pulled over with guns drawn for the insane speeding. I’m amazed how bold the drivers are for doing this without radar detectors. Unless they’re present and we don’t see them. I’m impressed with the balls these guys have

Yeah ofc. You can just toggle it on/off from the settings.
@omatikainen In Germany, the Hans Zimmer iconic sounds cost even 200 € extra. So I ordered mine without these sounds.

That acceleration noise was annoying. I'd prefer it just be quiet.
Do you know what is more annoying? Not being able to charge due to a power grid failure or whatnot

man fahren die Amis aber langsam. 65 Kmh auf einer Schnellstraße oder Autobahn. Könnte ich nicht. Hält man nicht lange durch.

@@MarkGelderland 105 kmh ist auf Dauer auch zum einschlafen. Ab 12:19 höre ich ein Motorrad der müsste locker über 160 kmh drauf haben.

Plastic?? It's a proper 4 series BMW. Just happens to have a batter & motor instead of an engine. The car is tha same.
A 4 series is far from plastic fym, feel the quality of the interior and then come back saying this.
