Come on people let’s blow this up rear vents for sedans/suv/hatchbacks should be on by default no matter the car “If you don’t want rear vents just get a coupe…. simple as that”🤷🤷
that and the fact that they give you that dinky basic screen on all models of the civic sedan except the touring. All models should have a descent screen and come standard with Sirius XM. We're in 2024 not 2014.
This is so weird to me. In my country the, the rear vents come on the sport civic

Bud, the car isn't a daily driver...it's a goddam race car...Honda didn't make this car, for you to get groceries with goofballs....Why are people stupid?.
I hardly consider a 4 cylinder Honda Civic Sedan a race car lol. If I was going to get a car for racing it would not be some weak 4 cylinder.

@codygregg1629 are you serious the name of the car is TYPE-R? WHAT DOES THE R STAND FOR?.... NOT GROCERY GETTER PAL......LOL....what a goofball the engineers at Honda will explain it to you ..They didn't engineer this fl5 for family transportation ...Hahahahaha...just ask them yourself. Goof
Do you notice the front vents blow any weaker when.. 1) The vent selector wheel is set to only the front vents and 2) The rear vents are shut closed? I'm planning to install this as well, just worried if the front vents will blow weaker or not.
@@KitsCars is it possible to remove the rear fascia without removing the center console, or is it mostly a job done with the console out of the car? I could just remove it and see if there's a space underneath. I wonder if there's no space underneath, if it's possible to run it along the side of the console bin instead, rather than cutting into the center console bin.
Ive never had anyone in my back seats of multiple cars for years. I could care less whats back there or not back there. As long as i can put stuff back there im good.

Even some coupes have rear vents. If there’s seats in the rear, there should be vents period
especially paying over $60K for this Type R
American? wtf would you pay that much. I got mine for under 50.
@@dl9775 dealership mark ups are a b*tch lol
My only problem with my civic is the lack if rear vents, this should be standard on every car!

Now please do a rear ventilation install for M3 CS. TIA 🙏
Amazing!
Great install! Do you think this is the same as the 10th gen Honda accord? I want to add rear hvac because mine didn’t come with it
is it not gonna be warmer in the front now since you distribute na air from the front?
yup
It doesn't affect very much. There is a completely separate duct that is blocked off in the factory configuration.
It will be warm either way. If it's not satisfactory for your liking then increase the fan speed
Nice. Definitely will look into this mod to keep my toddler and dog cooler
I just had this installed in my Type R……front cooling is not affected at all.
Great effort.

I don't notice it was any worse.
Did you have any issues with the center console bin or is the type r bin a lot shallower than the normal models?
@@APS_Inc I didn't have any issues with the bin, plenty of clearance underneath. I've never taken apart an 11th gen other than Type-RS though

Did you have keyless entry problem? It does not detect keys inside? How you resolved that?
Nope no issues for me
Passengers???? I've had my fl5 for two years..in December and NOBODY sat in my back seat.....hahahahahahaa
